The funniest thing regarding JJ being benched is this. What were we having trouble with the most?

-Solid 1 on 1 Defense on Paul Pierce.
-Rebounding. Heavily dominated on the boards.
-Toughness. I thought we were outmatched physically.
-Some EASY baskets. Offense clearly struggling as everyone taking contested shots.

Guess who we have that can provide all those things i listed. Just take WILDDDD guess. Please. :lol:

Surprisingly no one has commented about the level of defence tross was playing out there. He absolutely shut down beal and john wall, by far our best defender in game 1. Just from his d alone i think he should remain in the starting lineup. The way JJ can get into the game is by putting him in at the four when either nene or gortat get subbed at the end of the first. Seraphin or gooden are likely to come in and james can easily take advantage of both those matchups. Gooden is just a jump shooter on offence and seraphin has some post game but JJ is strong enough to handle him down low. Plus with jj on the court we can get out on the break more so we don't have to deal with our iso offence.

He played really well defensively. If only he made some 3s we'd be golden. Hopefully everything falls in the net tomorrow

I was at the game (in the 300s) so there were a few things missed that were obvious on TV. after we lost I was busy most of the weekend so I've been reading up and checking out some highlights.

I just saw the Bradley Beal wave that I had heard about on twitter. I absolutely hate Beal now, we have to destroy that punk. If that shi doesn't piss off Lowry and Demar I don't know what will. Pierce will be Pierce, and even after "F Paul Pierce" chants and him hitting a 3, he never really taunted he just shut us up with his game. Beal though flops his way into fouling out leader and then waves like a little punk bish. #FBeal

The reason why Beal probably did that was 'cause he felt Lowry undercut his legs while he was shooting the ball. If you go back and watch, Lowry gets into him as he's shooting the ball, probably wasn't intentional though.

Our guards played like crap and we managed to take em to overtime. I'm pretty confident at least one of Lowry, demar, or Lou will have a coming out party tmrw. Queue the 6 man.

Wow. Just read caseys comments today on James Johnson again, and it doesnt look like he's gonna play JJ in game 2 either. This **** is hellbent on sticking to the same rotation SMHHHH WHYYYYY??

He said Amir was the "second option" to cover Pierce over JJ. He says JJ being kept out is a "Strategic Decision". He and the coaching staff "Knows what they are doing".

yeah it was probably a foul, I'm just Bias of course. But I just hate the wave.

I feel like the wave that beal did was him trying to be tough but deep down a little scared.

he did a wave, but there was no swagger to it. it wasn't slow, it wasn't long, he wasn't making faces or anything. fake tough guy in my opinion. we'll expose him this series.

The coaching staff know exactly what they're doing in order to be fired at the end of the season.

That what i was thinking too before reading the comments. Way too much press and heat on JJ right now so i thought JJ would get significant min for sure.

But reading his comments, it looks like Casey will prolly play him garbage min like somewhere between 5-7 min just to please the fans and media. Lets hope im wrong.

A little extreme but I hear ya, it's really annoying cuz the guys have this inner clock and it rushes them even more. What she should however be doing is counting for the other team but 1-2 seconds ahead to mess them up.

I think it's helping them, or at least DeMar. If she's counting out loud they don't have to check the shot clock. And if it bothered DD or anyone else on the team she would have been told to stop years ago.

I also hear her counting how many seconds a defender is standing in the paint. She got to like 8 seconds once with Brook Lopez and the ref didn't do **** about it.
