Impressive display of what the Raptors are capable of. I was explaining to some friends on how the raptors starting lineup is scary. Lenght , athleticism, elite defense, High BBALL IQ ( somes assists were saucy af)...and talent. And I'm not even talking about Vanvleet, Ibaka , Powell coming off the bench. This defense is a **** Berlin wall.

As I already said, I really hope Kawhi stays , this could be the start of something big, really BIG.This city deserves it and it's good for the NBA landscape. I can't stand the dubs and their fake though players.

Good luck for the next round(s) Raptors. Imma need a few days to get out of my little depression right now.

Hopefully Lowry is healed up by game 1.

first ever Raps in 4

In hindsight, seems kinda obvious that if the magic were going to steal a game, their best chance was in game 1 while the Raps were still fumbling with the clutch to change into their playoff gear.

They hit everything from deep, their scrub PG went off, our all-star PG laid an egg, we couldn't shoot worth a damn and despite all that, we lost by one shot.

Whatever -- happens to lots of good teams and may have been the wake-up call the team needed in a much more poignant way than any coach's speech could ever deliver.

Since then the Raps absolutely imposed their will on the magic all series like a championship team should against a lower seed.

I'll take it and leave this series satisfied that this raps team is for real.

Ujiri: Hey...We're gonna get it. I don't know when it'll be, but we're gonna get it. Just like I said we'll get the first one and I said I didn't know when we'd get it...But we will. Guarantee you we will.

“Like I said before in Game 1, you lose the game and you’re terrible, if you win, you’re the superhero of the series,” Leonard said. “We’ve seen Kyle have games like that during the year. And, you know, he buys in so much into watching film and just being so smart on the floor. So I just know that he looked at the film and came back and see what he did, found his attack spots, or just (saw) where he could set up others on the floor. But, it’s a blessing to have him on the floor. I think he played well this whole series. In Game 1, he just didn’t score the ball, but he still had assists, rebounds, and played good defence. I feel like everybody always looks at that way too much, especially at this time, the scoring factor. I enjoy playing with him this whole series, and I feel like he made us all better.”

Kyle Lowry was so good in this series that he made Leonard speak 158 words in a row, uninterrupted.

MLSE got an extra home game out of the deal. They are quite happy.

After game one mistakes, Nurse recovered and managed really well... sticking with eight man rotations also. See this continuing.
No need to go deeper in bench unless game decided, late in 4th....

Shannon is a clown just like skip. what a garbage show.

Kawhi does play like MJ and does play like Kobe. Not saying they are the same players, but they do play a like. Tough defensively, great from midrange and hit 3's and all have a killer instinct.

next.

Does anybody not see that the Magic were a pretty damn good team and that the Raptors dominance was truly impressive?? The Magic finished the season hot and in my view presented the most challenge for the 1st round opponent. I would've easily taken the Pacers, Pistons, or Nets over the Magic before the series started - the Magic gave a lot of good teams issues toward the end of the regular season.

T. Ross is a streaky shooter, but he cannot defend ANYONE. Norman was chewing him up so badly - so happy he is not on the raptors anymore

Last night I couldn't shake the feeling that I was dreaming.

I woke up this morning and began checking ESPN, The Athletic, IG, Facebook etc and kept reading that the Raps had won and the series was over in 5. Oh... and also that my always choking Sharks stole game 7.

What a time to be alive.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think he's racist. He's proudly Anglo-Canadian and full of stereotypes but not racist, that's too strong a word.

He's obsessed with suits, so he prefers the Bruin's style. Nothing racist about it, and frankly, I find it kind of baffling that people are labeling it as racism. He's definitely an old SOB though, and he annoys me with a lot of his takes.

"I won't say what they looked like".

They looked like winners you talking thumb.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
