What did you think was going to happen when we lost our MVP in Kawhi Leonard in free agency. Once he walked this team was toast and we were stuck paying our role players as if they were legit all-stars. Now we're saddled with some not so great contracts and 1 absolutely atrocious one in Pascal Siakam.

Honestly even a 2nd for Birch would have helped a lot

They're not asleep - they're letting this play through. There's not much left to do other than trying to get some assets in a lost season. There's no need to rush that.

Masai has already quit in this franchise. He was out the door 4 months ago. He just didn’t have to leave us in the basement of the league

Now if we aren’t sellers at the deadline, then definitely

They are not asleep at the wheel. You just don't know what they are driving

We were already an after-thought without a real superstar.

I didn't know, but it turned out we had a great team still in 2020, bubble collapse notwithstanding. They did a crappy job of retooling after Kawhi left, should have fortified the 2020 team somehow with a Kawhi lite, a wing who can get his own shot at least.

Absolutely, letting the team slowly drift apart is an idiotic decision. Maybe you can’t keep the superstar, but you can keep the culture and championship expectations.

Masai got caught with his pants down having all of his eggs in Giannis. Who wouldn’t join this team now even if he left the bucks

What terrifies me is that we just seemed to have thrown every single element of our winning culture down the toilet from one season to the next:

Defensive identity... gone
Player development... gone
Roster depth... gone

It's all gone and no 2021 rookie is going to salvage it.

Yeah, we been clamoring for him to address the state of the team, but his next address to the fans may be goodbye as he leaves the team in shambles.

Ticker article:
Hawks Interested In Marcus Smart, Lonzo Ball

The Hawks are now buyers and we are a shambles thanks to this do-nothing FO

Or last year was an aberration and Kyle aging shows the rest of the core is a 6-11 seed at best.

You’re overreacting. Last year we had the 2nd best record in the league. You don’t just lose that winning culture in half a season. Shows you how spoiled our fan base is. We suck for one year and everyone loses their minds.

There’s been so many factors going against us this year. If we actually manage to snag Mobley in this draft this may be the quickest rebuild ever.

We have a squad full of elite role players/possibly super low end all stars. You insert an alpha on this team and everything will fall in place like a glove. Reminds me of like when jimmy butler joined the heat.

A core of OG, FVV and pascal with cap space this summer and possibly a top 5 pick. I can think of a lot worse scenarios to be in my friend. Things can change very quickly in the nba.

It can be rebuilt. Embrace the incoming injection of youth and talent.

We should wait until we see the final haul for Lowry and Powell before passing judgement.

What if giannis asks out and the raps have a top 5 pick would that make sense if it even becomes a possibility?

This is what worries me , no spirit. If the bounces/calls aren't going their way for so long I sincerely hope it doesn't become an issue next season

Masai is probably gone.

I still trust Bobby the rest of the FO.

Lots of sad, pathetic humans in here overreacting with a bunch of faulty logic. Its like I’m reading Youtube comments.

Fellas really take joy in trashing Bobby/Masai and our players. Its really sad.
