There’s no new info in this. Michael is taking rumours he’s heard on the internet and piecing an article together. For example, when he says the raps won’t trade OG and consider him part of the core, I think that’s just his opinion. Toronto media are famous for not knowing anything and having no insider info.

We’re rumoured to be interested in turner and Yakob so those are the names he throws out and fills the rest of the article with his opinions. It’s basically a long realgm post lol.

If Clips are looking to blow it up, I'd rather trade for All-Star Chris Kaman as he'd be a better fit.

Yeah, much as I respect Gordon and would want him on the team, I can't see giving up a first for a guy who turns 34 this year. And I don't see the numbers working for a beneficial trade for Wood, given the importance of staying under the tax line.

Gordon for Dragic and two seconds (i.e. the PJ Tucker special), that's acceptable.

Maybe the Clippers will give us their first round pick if we take on that awful Baron Davis contract. It will probably only be around #9 or #10, but that will get us Jimmer Fredette. Raps desperately need an explosive scorer like that.

Grange is generally terrible. He provides no more insight than any casual Raptors fan could.

Wasn't Fischer the one who predicted the Scottie Barnes draft selection? I trust him

Grange's article is pretty informative. Basically said Siakam, Fred, Scottie, OG are untouchables. Also wanting rim pressure on both ends is a specific kind of big. The biggest thing I got out of it is that Scottie is way ahead of their own expectations and they're bullish rather than skittish on the team. Masai is usually pretty conservative, and this team is .500 and likely to be sub.500 by the deadline.

Too much smoke, I think we're getting a starting C and ending the small ball experiment. We're going in on Turner as the Ibaka replacement I can feel it

Fischer is a $3 bill. Just a goof.

Myles Turner or Poeltl is my guess.

It just makes us a lot better on defense and what we have right now as starters is a bad fit and forced.

Like most of us, I get pretty excited when the deadline is near, but I just don't think it makes sense to sell any first round picks.

We all agree Pascal isn't a first option. Selling current assets to surround a core with a limited ceiling doesn't make sense for me, especially with every little financial flexibility for the next few years.

Only way I trade a first is if Boucher nets us one, and we move that. Otherwise, no thanks
