52) Thornton / Sharp / Brazile / Tomislav / Knox
57) Reed / Johnson / L'Etang

Not sold on Ngongba in the first round, but some good picks here. L'Etang is especially interesting. Even more interesting perhaps as a late flyer at center is Anton Bonke. He's got a crazy story, and a great frame/measurables. I think there may be upside there (reminds me a little of Steven Adams at Pitt). For someone that started playing at 16, the shot looks good too (though the FT% needs work).

Another late sleeper I'm keeping my eye on is Adam Atamna. The size and speed aren't great, but the shot is great and I love how patient he is playing off of two feet. Jared McCain vibes.

Not many big PG (6'3+) in the 2nd round that I feel would worth a spot. I think we are either looking for a PG in the 1st round or a PF/C like Yaxel Lendeborg. I am more against take a freshman these years, as it doesn't work out most of the time.

This is the scouting report of Joshua Jefferson, feels he is like James Johnson lite (without elite athleticism)

I guess he could replace Mogbo (if traded away).

Lendeborg looks like a solid choice at like 6'10 with a 7'4 wingspan to start backing up PF and C so CMB plays more SF only. He'll be like 23 1/2 at the draft.

Both Lendeborg and Jefferson are senior, so they will be 22 and 23 at the draft.

Meanwhile, Agbaji would end his contract after this season, and we got an extra spot, so there could be no change to our roster except for Agbaji.

Lendeborg can play C and PF, while Jefferson can play PF to SG. Both of them are versatile 3&D on both ends (just not half court creator).

Ya, I'm down with Jefferson in the 2nd round if Agbaji gets traded for a big.

Another interesting potential one-and-done prospect. He reminds me of Quentin Grimes.

i want to use our seconds to move up and target tugler...7'6 wingspan and 21 is young for a junior, and just gotta play defense off the bench and i be super happy

Caleb Wilson with the game winning block against Ohio St. in Atlanta. UNC was up by double digits in the 2nd until Ohio St. came back and took the lead in the last minute. UNC cut the lead to 1 with 33 seconds left on the clock then forced a turnover and Henri Vesaar took the lead on a dunk in the lane. Mobley then missed the go ahead three, Ohio St got the offensive rebound and Caleb blocked the putback attempt.

Hes just so intense and productive despite being so raw. When I watch him play theres so much he can improve and these things will make him a much better player despite already being great.

Arkansas vs. Houston is starting right now. This is a game with tons of draft prospects and many that Toronto should be targetting with their 1st pick. Acuff, Thomas, Brazile, Cenac etc. Trevon Brazile has been playing some great ball this year for the Razorbacks and has emerged as a deep sleeper and one of this years top Seniors. He’s 6’9 with a 7’4 wingspan and has shot the ball very well on decent volume 55% FG and 47% 3PT on 3.5 Attempts per game. It will be interesting to see if his effeciency continues through the tough SEC conference play. Anybody in the NBA ould use that kind of combination of shooting and length.

Tugler’s one of my favourite guys in this draft, I think he’s be a real game changer on the defensive end in the pros.

Not sure he’s the best fit with our current roster build, but love his game

at around 30-40 i would definitely gamble on that length and defensive potential

Miikka Muurinen is like an Andrei Kirilenko clone. A 6'10.5" 185lbs small forward with a 7'2 wingspan, bounce, and fluidity. I'm not even sure if he's eligible for the 2026 draft (he will be 19, but i don't know if he meets the residency requirements for Euros). He's legit one of the most talented players I've seen this year. Can we call him the "Finnish Flagg"?

Most likely undraft, unless he can improve his 3 point shooting to average. Right now, his free throw isn't good to project he can shoot the 3.
He will more likely be a PF (6'7 with shoes), and without shooting, he will be a better defender than Mogbo, but that's about it.

I think there’s no way he goes undrafted, he’s just too good defensively. 6’8” with a 7’5” wingspan and he’s the best defender on arguably the best team in college.

Don’t think he’s the best fit for our roster as currently constructed, but he’s a legitimate game changer defensively. Someone will definitely take a chance on him in the Top 45

For all you shot-creation + playmaking lovers I present you with Keaton Wagler. He's rising fast, and will probably out of our range.

He seems like the American version of Sergio DeLarrea. He is younger at 18 until February 3rd!

He'd be good value at #50 as a backup PF/C.

Now that college ball is on Christmas break it's probably a good time to post my first "Masai/Bobby-type FRP" list of the 2026 draft cycle. This list is subject to change throughout the season as some guys rise and fall based on production inconsistency (list will definitely shrink). In brackets will be where they are currently ranked on ESPN's top 100 (generally Masai/Bobby-types rise in mocks throughout the college season), and their school.

Tier 1A - Masai/Bobby-type Lottery level Freshmen:
-6'5" PG Darryn Peterson (Kansas, #1)
-6'9" F AJ Dybantsa (BYU, #2)
-6'9" F Cam Boozer (Duke, #3)
-6'10" PF/C Caleb Wilson (North Carolina, #4)

-6'4" PG Kingston Flemings (Houston, #6)
-6'11" PF/C Hannes Steinbach (Washington, #17)
-6'5" G Tounde Yessoufou (Baylor, #22)
-6'2" G Ebuka Okorie (Stanford, unranked)
-6'3" PG Mario Saint-Supery (Gonzaga, unranked)
-5'10" PG Chance Mallory (Virginia, unranked)
-6'9" F David Mirkovic (Illinois, unranked)
-6'7" F Amari Allen (Alabama, unranked)
-6'9" PF/C Thijs De Ridder (Virginia, unranked)
-7'1" PF/C Massamba Diop (Arizona State, unranked)
-7'0" C Malachi Moreno (Kentucky, unranked)

Tier 1B - Masai/Bobby-type Lottery level Sophomores:
-6'11" C Patrick Ngongba (Duke, #16)
-6'5" F Cameron Carr (Baylor, #20)
-6'6" G Isaiah Evans (Duke, #21)
-6'7" F Juke Harris (Wake Forest, #43)
-6'9" PF/C Morez Johnson Jr. (Michigan, #45)
-6'9" C Flory Bidunga (Kansas, #51)
-6'8" F Dailyn Swain (Texas, #52)
-6'5" G Paul McNeil Jr. (NC State, #60)
-6'4" G Tajuan Simpkins (Seton Hall, unranked)

Tier 3 - General Masai/Bobby-type FRPs (Class added preceding their listed position):
-6'9" Sr. F Yaxel Lendeborg (Michigan, #14)
-6'11" Jr. PF/C Alex Condon (Florida, #40)
-7'2" Jr. C Motiejus Krivas (Arizona, #49)
-6'9" Sr. F Joshua Jefferson (Iowa State, #54)
-6'3" Sr. PG Jaden Bradley (Arizona, #92)
-6'5" So. G Teagan Moore (Western Kentucky, unranked)
-6'7" So. G Jackson Holcombe (Utah Valley , unranked)
-6'7" So. G Ian Scott (Indiana State, unranked)
-6'4" So. G De'Shayne Montgomery (Dayton, unranked)
-6'4" So. G Devin Vanterpool (Florida Atlantic, unranked)
-6'5" So. PG Nolan Minessale (St. Thomas, unranked)
-5'9" So. PG Jaquan Johnson (Bradley, unranked)
-6'6" So. PG Chance Westry (UAB, unranked)
-6'5" Jr. G Blue Cain (Georgia, unranked)
-6'11" Jr. PF/C Arrinten Page (Northwestern, unranked)

This is looking like an extremely strong draft class from a Masai/Bobby-type POV. My first Masai/Bobby-type list last year I did way earlier in the college season (too early, I think it was only like 5 games in IIRC), and it was still much smaller than the first list of this year's draft cycle.

Random aside, I bolded the top 4 because it's actually crazy to me how good they've been specifically. Heading into the year I said if the 2025 and 2026 draft classes were combined, the top 4 would be Boozer/Dybantsa/Flagg/Peterson in no particular order.

All 3 of those guys have lived up to the hype so far (Peterson has only played 4 games, but he's been so obviously insanely good that I just think his camp is playing it super safe with his hamstring injury because his draft stock is already looking solidified), and Caleb Wilson's production has been so incredible as well that it's basically looking like a big 5 now (again if the 2025 and 2026 draft classes were combined).
My Masai/Bobby-type FRP Barttorvik queries: 4/4, zero misses
