The haters have to chill out a little, It's like they now are going to be rooting for Val to fail just so they can say "I told you so". To be honest i wasn't that high on Biyombo but if the Raps picked him I would be in full support of him and would hope that he becomes a great player in this league. There's no point in being pessimistic to the pick the Raps selected if your are a fan of this team and i can just hope the haters can come around and embrace this player that has great potential.

We all know BC operates in twos:

Bosh - Jack (Georgia Tech)
Bargnani - Belinelli (Italy)
Calderon - Garbo (Spain)
Johnson - Johnson (Johnson)

Kleiza.... Valanciunas (Lithuania)

Someone give me a cookie.

I think we're all too depressed for cookies... Pick is very disappointing, BC had a choice between a role player (Val) and a potential elite point guard (Knight) and he chose the likely scrub.

Mark my words Brandon Knight will be one of the three best players out of this draft, personally I like him more than Irving.

To Finish, I finish with this

Demar: Hey Val, people doubting your game...You Ready?
Jonas: No Speaka English.
Demar: Come on Man, Just answer You Ready?
Jonas: ready
Demar: WHAT
Jonas: I READY.
Demar: Good...Do It Big Stylin.

I like it. Shows the Raps are not doing any quick fixes and should get a nice pick in 2012. Knight slipped passed the Raptors but I don't mind since Jonas plays the right way and is worth a shot. Two thumbs up.

I get the supporters and see why they would root for a guy like Valanciunas to be taken.

But on the other side, I haven't seen one single rational post saying why the Raptors shouldn't have chosen Valanciunas.

Needless to say, I'm slowly coming around on the pick.

For those of you complaining about Bargnani, this is actually a sign that we will look to deal him, rather than keep him.

What have you seen that makes you think this guy is an automatic failure? Whether or not this guy becomes a good player not is not even the point. You making being unreasonably pessimistic predictions does you or anyone else any favor. If you're right, good for you but you're still a douche. If you're wrong you look like an idiot.

His English was definitely a little better right now compared to that draft interview, must have been nervous.
