I doubt we take Drummond at 2. The best case option for us is to land a pick higher than where Barnes will end up. So if Barnes does end up fallingg & we have a higher pick, we can swoop in & get a prospect ++ barnes foor our pick.

Peyton Siva in the second round will be a steal if the raps select him. Hes got great speed, athletism. Hes a good passer and scorer. Hes just missing the size but i think hes worth the shot in the second round.

About Peyton Siva,

So you can see a short PG with limited speed and lack of Athleticism (and limited length) and that can't shoot make it to the NBA

We might need to look at our 2nd round options again, I guess.
We have too many prospects, I don't know what we should pick for these 2nd rounders.

With 2nd round pick I want us to take a gamble on Tony Wroten Jr.

We need some elite talent, the kid has all the tools court vision everything needed to excel at the PG position. He could learn well from Jose on how to better run a team.

Playing under coach Casey would help take some of the selfish out of his game.

If everything fails we can bring him in as a SG & take over Demar's role.

If we do end up drafting drummond is it possible to start him and valanciunas at once ? can any one of them play the 4 position?

Tyshawn Taylor the most underrated PG, potential draft steal.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

They both are capable of playing the 4/5.

he reminds me of an athletic mario chalmers, just needs to work on his nba 3 point range , and decision making and he could be a solid pro

The both look like they can play the four. Val has a better mid range game. But Drummond has a developing offence. He even has a mid range game himself.

Drummond wouldn't be starting year 1 for sure. He needs some seasoning.

Chad Ford with a draft buzz update:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog/_/n ... s-stay-hot

It's Insider, so my summary:

THE GOOD:
- MKG has solidified himself as the clear-cut No. 2 pick in the draft
- Beal is a virtual lock for top 5. Ford has him at No. 3 on his board now. Says scouts think he's Eric Gordon with a higher ceiling.
- T-Rob, Cody Zeller, Jared Sullinger, Terrence Jones and Kendall Marshall all helped their stock. James McAdoo has also seen his stock rise and Ford thinks he could be drafted ahead of Barnes and PJ3 if he declares.

THE BAD:
- Barnes' struggles without Marshall were alarming. A number of GMs still believe he can be an effective weapon, but Ford doesn't see a franchise-changer. Thinks Deng or Granger are his upside, but suggests he could be the second coming of Martell Webster if he doesn't live up to his potential.

I think the guy to take in the second round (if he is there) is C.J. McCollum from Lehigh. He has got everything you want in a PG including high efficiency (6th in College) paired with high usage. He is an amazing scorer and should based on the Duke win alone be drafted. His crossover is unbelievably good, plus he averages about 2 steals a game. I like PG from small market colleges, and McCollum is the guy who projects to be a steal. Duke wishes they never met him.

Not sure I agree with your wording. Ford said: "If he doesn't live up to his potential? Maybe he is the second coming of Martell Webster."

Sure, and what are floors for other guys who don't live up to their potential. I think the Deng/Granger comment is the one on which to base assessments, and where you would slot him if he isn't going to be an elite player.
