We are all going to look back in 10 years and realize how garbage this logo is. Its like when the Blue Jays went with the Black Jerseys and the Blue "T".

Exactly. The Blue Jays made this mistake a decade ago when they went with that horrible black and silver style in order to appear more hip and trendy. Luckily, they finally realized their mistake and brought the classic logo back. I can't believe the Raps are about to make the same mistake lol.

Difference is the Jays were contenders and then back to back World Series champions while wearing (The franchise's original) logo, moving to another logo for them made ZERO sense, but they were being run by Paul Godfrey, someone who makes Richard Peddie seem like an astute sports businessman. The Raptors on the other hand were nothing but mocked with their original cartoon logo and the links to Barney etc., also they have done NOTHING of historical significance while wearing their original logo, hence the leeway to change and find something different. The new logo get's a 'm'eh' rating from me, just glad they didn't go back to cartoon dinos, to busy a design, and purple.

I really don't have a problem with the logo. It's a little bland, but some may call that minimalist. Whenever new stuff gets revealed, it's always THE WORST EVAR according to the internet.

Usually, but not always. The Jays logo was widely liked upon launched and its still the best logo in the country IMO.

Really biting off of Brooklyn uh (no pun intended), I do like the concept though. It emphasizes on the Raptor franchises name and all, but also brings a little dignity to our image. Imo rocking a dinosaur along with purple as our brand, was never cute. It's almost as if somebody did it as a joke. Till this day we get clowned many times over the years for that, and I'd say it might have also played a part in the the franchise not being taken seriously for all these years. Anything that can add as much class to our image as possible I'm so down for.

The Toronto Star just published an article....saying that the full jersey will be released later TODAY. Masai saying that the look is nothing like the Nets when you see the full jersey.

I really hope the Jerseys look good but even then you still could of done a better job with the logo...

Could they of not had a **** focus group for this? Seems like more than 80% of the fans hate the logo and thats pretty hard to do considering how well the team is doing right now.
