And wether or not it was a foul....His block on Dinwiddie a couple of possesions back and then his defense on the very last play was a major Key

dude Ibaka got both hands on both of dimwiddies hands and got no ball. it was a brutal non-call that we were very lucky to get. if it happened to us we'd be losing our sh*t. but hey i'll take it.

edit: i was talking about the attempted dunk when it was still a tie game

That was a foul for sure, get used to it. Dinwiddie just said in the post game that he gets it and will go to the gym so he can play through those non calls.

Believe me we see this nightly, the refs are a problem for the NBA.

Demar and Lowry never gets those calls in late game situations so why should Dinwiddie...you can't force refs to make game deciding calls, Demar and especially Lowry also need to realize that.

This is one example of the many where the Nets were getting questionable calls in their favour. The refs were horrible tonight, period. The Nets' fans that are crying about Dinwiddie and how he should've gotten to the line on that last shot attempt are just salty. Their hopes were up because they felt that they were in a position to beat a team much better than them. I've felt the same way when the Raptors have lost to the GS Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers in close games. Brooklyn, you must temper your expectations, take this from a long time Raptors' fan that has seen many unfathomable, unspeakable acts against his favourite team. Sometimes its better just to say you were in the building, you know?

Casey's decisions in the second half we're costly, giving FVV so much burn against a backcourt with a lot of size was idiotic. He was giving up 5-7 inches to whoever he had to cover, and got killed. The bench unit struggled to score in the second half, there were moments where we should've put them away and get ready for Miami back home. Dwane's brain cramps in crunch time almost cost us one.

He got too cute with the rotations. I know it's the first game of a back to back but he lacked urgency.

Yeah, way too cute. Needed to keep some of the starters in to create distance and not have them lingering to close the game. Build up a lead, then go to your bench to finish; the extended run he gives to the bench has been putting us in a hole as of late.

I can understand why Nets fans would be mad though...this has happened to us Raptors fans many times with Demar and Lowry. Refs just don't calls fouls in game winning situations.

If the three PG lineup is a sneak peak of the playoffs, kill me now.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:

Raptors' fans can absolutely sympathize BUT where the Net's fans have it wrong is that they're making up a call to justify the bad play at the end of the game. The Raptors have actually been screwed out of games because of horrible officiating. If I even bring up the Kings, everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about. When a team has received multiple apologies in one season from the NBA regarding bad calls, something is up... The Nets aren't on that level yet.

Man... that is beyond wrong.

I am so tired of your (insert derogatory term) that I'll stop lurking just to respond to your ignorant ass.

During that particular sequence where Net's rallied in the fourth, which you are undoubtedly talking about, JV did not make ANY defensive mistakes, and yet, being a scapegoat that he is, got pulled, as always. Except that after he got pulled, the Nets had the exact same open shots as when he was on the floor, except that they missed them - oh lord, what an amazing defensive effort by us, right?

Go and review the sequence again and you will see - both Acy's threes were due to the fact that our guards got blown by and JV went to defend the paint. He got yelled at by Casey, so next play he said **** it and stuck to Acy, just to see one of our guards get beaten 1 on 1 for an easy layup. Harris three in transition had zero to do with JV.

So, say that JV is not good defensively and I will agree with you. But say it after the game where he ACTUALLY does **** defensively. Here, you are just showing your pure hate and zero understanding.

Hope Kyle is OKAY, and FK BROOKLYN.

Not only they got the same shots (Acy got an open 3 immediately) but we also struggled on the glass.

But don't try to reason with this boy, he ain't going to get it.

dude JV nut huggers were hoping we drop this game so they can say we lost because " the idiot casey didn't play JV" they just have to make JV the talking point even when he's struggling. Some of these guys just watch raptor games just to see how JV plays so I'm not shocked.

If you think Jonas was struggling tonight while putting up per36 stats of 30/18 then you have an even higher opinion of him than I do.

All you need to know about Casey's coaching: We all know derozan is going to take the last shot, he still wouldn'becat put his best offensive rebounder in, because... pick and roll.

Rewatching the replay, Van vleet got absolutely torched for 5 fg by dinwiddie in the 4th.

Why was he in there when you have og your defensive lock down specialist on the bench.

He started the 4th well but was done by 6 left. Casey rides this **** guy too long.

Yep, just every GM, the coaching staff, other centres, media, most of the forum and me don't get it. If you really want an opinion ask the lithuanian guy here how good JV is, it's sure to be unbiased.

Go argue with someone else for a change Buff.
