From Val/Wright/Miles to Gasol/Lin/Morris

That would be insane.

I am just against Morris. He is a disinterested rebounder and his defense was terrible in Washington. I feel like he is a name guy, but his impact is a lot less than what he offers. He has the rep of a bully but the defensive play of a pussycat. We need grit, but with some defensive metrics to show for it.

I feel you.

Dedmon is the ideal option. But Hawks don't seem like they're going to buy him out.
He can rebound the ball well, great defender, and has been the shooting the 3 very well this year.
Also has had big games against Philly, Milwaukee, and Indiana this season .
Let's hope Masai can pull it off somehow like he did with Lin.

IF not, we have no other option but Markieff Morris. Who'd still be a solid add.

Dedmon would be great. Almost perfect, but Atlanta hasn't change course on keeping him.

The other question is OG Anunoby. Nurse has been pretty loyal to him and if you sign a rotation guy like Dedmon, then you should be playing Dedmon quality minutes (15-20 per game). OG would get lost in the shuffle which isn't bad if you think he can develop in the G-League, but it seems weird that he goes from starter to unplayable in a year which he had an injury and personal issues. I still like OG as back-up PF, with a situation stretch big like Frank K or Tolliver as the floor spreader.

Since he played in Spanish national team I wonder if Raptors will investigate and eventually sign him. This year he had 7 3 pointers in one game.

Alcohol or substance abuse. Team executives already know that's why theres no buzz about anyone wanting to pick him up.

Interesting, how do you know this? Was there reports out or rumours earlier on in the season?

I don't I was just generalizing. Just when something like this happens it's the most likely thing. I have zero inside information.

Is he being bought out? I havent heard anything about that.

Good fit.

He's not getting any minutes there with Gibson/Saric/Deng playing the 4 so I hope they do right by him. We get an elite 3-point shooter and great locker room guy.

Tolliver would complete this team imo.

A knockdown shooter off the bench is all we are missing

Yah I said as much too, regarding Masai. He's set his hook and cast the line, now just waiting for biters.

Did someone say Rich Paul and a Morris being in LA? My bet is he joins the LAbrons.

Any chance T.Ross gets bought out by Orlando? Would probably help them lose more games if he wasn't on the roster. What if Ross asks for a buyout to join a contender and Orlando abides as a courtesy?

Bring em home!

I have absolutely despised the idea of VC coming back. I have have held an unhealthy disdain verging on initial hatred for VC when he was first traded, until now.

This team needs a 3pt threat off the bench and VC might be one of the very limited options available .

At this point, with the Raps being all in, I'm on board with bringing him back. I don't know if that says more about the lack of shooting Masai has been unable to address or the desperation I'm starting to feel.

Good to see you come around.... What's that old saying business is business?

Time to let old grudges die off and do what's best for the franchise especially in the position we're in right now.

It was a moment of weakness! Lin addresses the shooting AND the loss of Delon.

Letting go of the bitterness for VC was quite cathartic. I dunno if I'll be able to work it up again. In the meantime, he's dead to me.

Man Tolliver would be great if he becomes available?! I still likeVC as last spot for depth shooting and effort for the run. You know he would be more “in” than Ben Mor really any other and he would only get run if hurt or NP has slump.

Nah we have a glut of guards and Ross at SF was a failed experiment.

Are you serious? Ross is having a career year and is in the Top 10 in 3 pointers made this season. His shooting would be perfect for us, who are lacking in 3P's.

Unless the Magic implode, they will still be gunning for the 8th spot. I am purposely cheering for them to lose so they release Ross.

Enes kanter would have been just luxury for the raptors since we already have 3 C's
We really need to solidify that PF/SF depth

Yeah Rich Paul as his agent means he's probably not coming here. But Ingram and James play the 4 spot for LA, so not sure he goes there either.
