According to most of yall in here, he just sits on his phone all day because thats what a President of Basketball Operations does.
Its crazy that yall are hating on him saying he’s asleep at the wheel but dont know what he does. Some seriously awful logic. I hope yall apply more logic in your daily lives lmao

Getting flashbacks to all the "still evaluating" "playing with his Blackberry" and "more concerned with Giants of Africa" takes in the years before the Leonard trade
This isn't BC, he's not making moves for the sake of making moves.

Re: Masai and Bobby are Asleep at the Wheel
I wonder if Masai is spending more time on social issues, politics, and that issue with the security guard than dealing with the team.
I remember one offseason when Glen Grunwald signed Jerome Moiso, Milt Palacio, Rick Brunson and Mengke Bateer. Glen clearly wasn’t trying very hard. That’s what this season feels like with the signings of Aron Baynes and Alex Len. Masai might be bored with his current job, looking for something bigger, maybe outside the nba.

Nah, none of that side stuff pays the bills. He’s about to get a huge pay raise whether its with us or another team.

Not sure if he's sleeping- I'm hoping for a whole raft of changes to start a proper rebuild. The fact that he is still unsigned is worrisome though. If he just adds 3rd tier talent as in (Baynes, Len,Stanley, McCaw, Thomas) then I think Masai is gone, If he trades Kyle and Powell and gets some real assets, then maybe Masai signs a new contract.

Defensive identity... gone

It's all gone and no 2021 rookie is going to salvage it.
You’re overreacting. Last year we had the 2nd best record in the league. You don’t just lose that winning culture in half a season. Shows you how spoiled our fan base is. We suck for one year and everyone loses their minds.
There’s been so many factors going against us this year. If we actually manage to snag Mobley in this draft this may be the quickest rebuild ever.
We have a squad full of elite role players/possibly super low end all stars. You insert an alpha on this team and everything will fall in place like a glove. Reminds me of like when jimmy butler joined the heat.
A core of OG, FVV and pascal with cap space this summer and possibly a top 5 pick. I can think of a lot worse scenarios to be in my friend. Things can change very quickly in the nba.
Lots of sad, pathetic humans in here overreacting with a bunch of faulty logic. Its like I’m reading Youtube comments.
Fellas really take joy in trashing Bobby/Masai and our players. Its really sad.
The players/FO's jobs are to perform. If you aren't performing, you get criticized. That's just the way society works. Better get used to it.

We didn’t know that thank you for enlightening us.
There’s a difference between criticism and just constantly being negative and whining.

When your team is in the middle of a 9 game losing streak and just lost to a team on a 20 game losing streak, no, I don't blame them one bit. If you don't like it then leave instead of making disparaging comments to other posters.

Some of you weren't around for the Babcock/BC era and it shows.

GOOD TIMES.
Vividly remember watching Hoffa get drafted after Babcock was hired. Priceless.
However, some say that was all Wayne Embry.
