OG was pretty damn impressive in his rookie year while coming off an ACL injury for a contending team. Siakam I agree considering he also was a 4 year college player.

Siakam played college for 2 years.

Did he just enter college late then? Seems old for only a 2 year college player.

lmao so too early to call him a HOF'er?

Also, the form on his 3 pointer isn't bad at all! I honestly expected it to be a lot worse. Pumped to see how it develops with NBA trainers

How did you use my statistic to thinking that i'm saying he's HOF'er? I'm just throwing shades at the people wanting Ben Simmons here

haha I know you aren't calling him a future HOF'er, figured i'd ride the hype train after a good game :D

Barnes is still a better prospect then what OG was. And OG only fell to 23 because of his ACL injury, else he was likely a top 10 pick.

He redshirted his first year.

I will make my definitive judgment base on tomorrow's game. Glad we'll have everything figured out this soon. But seriously, please don't be better than Barnes lol.
It depends on how you define better. Shooting wise? Probably. But will he impact the game at both ends like Barnes does? Will he provide the versatility of Barnes? We will find out in a few years.

This team desperately needs a lead dog on offense. If Suggs can be that while being good defensively, it will outdo Barnes projection of being a prime Draymond. But who says that Barnes can't be more like Giannis than Draymond so ultimately time will tell.
I don't see Suggs ever being a #1 option on a title team. He doesn't have the athleticism or shooting or shot creation to be on that level. He'd have to reach 100% of his potential to get to that level. I think Jrue is a realistic comparison. #3 guy on a champion who provides elite guard defense.

His playmaking was really good. Only reason his assist total was low was because his teammates (namely Gillespie) botched several easy looks. Easily could've had a half-dozen or more. If Malachi makes those passes to NBA-quality players/shooters instead of SL players, his assist #s go way up.

That wasn’t even his best move.
He was shedding defenders like a snake sheds it’s skin.
He had a killer instinct to his game.

That fires me up to hear! I'm hoping he can take that next step as a bench scorer/facilitator for us this season.

He had two moves other than that 3 that wowed me.
One was near the baseline. I think he missed the shot but he left his defender in his dust. I can’t remember the other one.
He also had good end to end speed.

I was hoping that was the case. I saw the 1ast in the boxscore....

1/9 for Freddie yikes.... The 13 rebounds was nice.

I absolutely cannot wait for Fultz, Cole Anthony and Suggs to share the rock.

It will be hilarious.
