I don't see Suggs ever being a #1 option on a title team. He doesn't have the athleticism or shooting or shot creation to be on that level. He'd have to reach 100% of his potential to get to that level. This team desperately needs a lead dog on offense. If Suggs can be that while being good defensively, it will outdo Barnes projection of being a prime Draymond. But who says that Barnes can't be more like Giannis than Draymond so ultimately time will tell.

His playmaking was really good. Only reason his assist total was low was because his teammates (namely Gillespie) botched several easy looks. Easily could've had a half-dozen or more. If Malachi makes those passes to NBA-quality players/shooters instead of SL players, his assist #s go way up.
