Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
If Caleb Houstan hit three more threes he'd have a decent TS%. I'm moderately confident he'd hit closer to that rate going forward.
Jalen Hardy is just shooting 30% from everywhere.

Let's playin for 9th!

I know, Hardy has been horrible.
But he shows flashes and has alpha in him. Its important. Lots of guys aren't the best simply bc they don't believe they're the best. I like that Kobe, Derozan mindset

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
I want a big in the 2022 draft, we will get our superstar wing in the 2023 draft. It's all Wings and the tall french guy. Lively ok too but
1. Scoot
2. Victor
3. Shaedon
4. Keyonte George
5. Bates
6. Amari Bailey
7. Dariq Whitehead
8. Amen Thompson
9. Jordan Walsh
10. Ausar thompson
All wings but the french guy and they might add the HS players too so DJ Wagner, Kwame Evans Jr, Ron holland, Mikey Williams who might be able to join...more wings

Not me. He only plays good against really really bad teams. This team they beat was 0-7 in a horrible conference.
This is rec league level. His team is now 2-6 in a horrible conference against horrible competition.

Warren still not back and isn't going to be back for a long time it seems. Sabonis and Brogdon have to be the must un clutch duo I've ever seen. With all these factors combined I think it's safe to say they're always going to be below us in the standings.
Yea Indy just has no consistency. The Knicks are dropping fast as well, and now Charlotte will be missing a bunch of key guys. Raps can easily move up to 9th place, and get stuck there I don't see the passing Boston or Atlanta.

Knicks are losing to good teams this last stretch and two of the last three losses have been close. We play them in a few days so we'll see.

Knicks are finishing ahead of us for sure, so are the hornets.
Indy imo has better talent than us

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
ppl will sleep on Kenndy Chandler all year long. They don't like PGs any more idk but he's top 5 imo This draft is weak.
Shocked he isn't top 5 in more mocks. in time, in time they will see.

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
Given that...
1. Raptors most likely scenario is picking 8-15.
2. We could use a connector on offense who can shoot and has the passing gene to compliment Fred, OG, Pascal, Scottie.
3. This has basically turned into the draft scouting thread.
Which potential draftee best fits this profile? Think Tyrese Haliburton.

Duren really doesn't impress me at all.
Going to need to see some serious development between now and the draft to live up to the hype he came in with.

One shouldn't expect such a pick to have a meaningful contribution for at least 3 years....so drafting for immediate need is problematic because need usually changes from year to year.

Re: Tank World Order (6.0)
Mdenny you don't seem to have much tolerance for this here tanking business, amiright? These guys seems to think every pick will end up being pascal siakam on steroids if masai lands in the top 10, and works his magic. So contributing 1 year in is probably a minimal expectation. These tanky TWO guys are living on hopes and dreams and some unidentified fumes. Probably gasoline.

I will grant you that Baldwin was playing against very weak opposition but it still seems he can really play. 3's are the same distance no matter the opposition. No way Chandler goes ahead of him imo. If you want to see a real sleeper who is going to rocket up draft boards, check out ND frosh Blake Wesley. I like him in top 10 more than Keegan Murray. I do like Kendall Brown at 8. He could move up.

Three years for a lottery pick seems overly pessimistic when our track record is most of our first rounders produce by year 2.
I don't think we should force anything as we can always get that player in FA or via trade but the best way to build is through the draft and Raps could really use a skilled passer.
