Not to mention Charles Bassey who I would also consider equal to or an upgrade over Koloko and about a year younger.

Joe will never be able to defend in Nurse's system, so there's just no point.

Bassey is definitely a Raptor type and Masai has known him for a long time. Philly drafted him against his will and then tried to stiff him on a contract. The chip on his shoulder would be huge, but so far it looks like Koloko is more NBA ready than he is. As a long term prospect he'd be more like a Birch replacement.

I'd just go with Brown, because size and shooting are premium combinations.

You're right. Hopefully Brown makes the cut, I believe in his shooting.

Never understood why we were so quick to give RHJ that 2 way contract its not like he lit the summer league on fire.

Which Raptors players on the current roster has "lit" up Summer League? There's no correlation there.

It's great to do that, run every chance we get. But it's halfcourt offense that needs the most improvement, especially come playoff time
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Don't know if there are any reports yet but Masai is definitely working on a trade.

Obviously I can't disclose which player or the source, but for the first time I actually have solid info. The player being discussed is one of the bench players and not one of the starters.

Believe it or not, I don't care. I'm not looking for attention. Just giving you guys a heads up that something is in the works.

If we're in a development phase like everyone says, maybe we should work on our weaknesses that get exploited in the playoffs like I don't know, some semblance of a half-court offence.

All players that made the current roster were at least the 1st or 2nd option when they played summer league. RHJ was not even top 5 on our summer league team this year nor did he show major flashes imo.

Also the fact that he didn't light it up means that we didn't have to rush to sign him. We could have made that decision now.

They agreed to sign him as an undrafted FA by the end of the draft, so this is before summer league takes place.
