He is shooting guard, how many times he's been injured? Why is this worth new thread?

No he's not. He's a shoot first point guard. And if you don't like the thread go elsewhere, no one asked you to comment troll.

The kid has a 6'10" wingspan, a 40 inch vertical and has elite slashing ability.

Here's his DX profile: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Rod ... bois-1298/

I just think if a kid like that is available at a low cost you can't really go wrong in trying to acquire him. Dallas can use a lot, they only have 7 guys under contract.

I think he's the only guy under 30 on their roster. Mavs just re-signed Kidd to a year deal that ends when he is 42.

He is a undersized two-guard. If he could play point, the Mavs would keep him.

Don't they seem like the type of team who prefers to win now over building young though?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodrigue_Beaubois
He is listed at 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 m)[1] tall and he plays the shooting guard position.

he has not been able to master the move from shooting guard to point guard

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Wikipedia is an excellent source man....

I'd give him a shot, they don't even play the guy. And now that they're trying to keep Jason Kidd he'll be backing up again.

Are you done trolling? I can wait if you want to spam some more. If you honestly think Beaubois got big minutes you're more delusional than I thought.

Wow, look at this guy, firstly he didn't get big minutes because he is an injury prone, secondly he is a 2, thirdly you are obviously a troll creating nonsense threads.

First of all, he played 53 games this past year. Second of all, he averages 22 minutes per game. Third, creating threads about potential candidates for roster spots is trolling? You're officially on my ignore list, troll.

Yeah, because Barea was gone, he is young, but everyone knows he is a 2 who everyone wanted to be a 1. His first season he played about 50 games, second season about 20, last season about 50.

What about Brandon Jennings?
What about Darren Collison?
What about Ramon Sessions?
What about Jason Kidd?
What about Jonny Flynn?
What about Jannero Pargo?

Sorry, even though i agree that Beaubois is a 2 guard in a PG's body. You are one of the worst posters here.

He had a very serious foot injury that he tried to come back too early on and it ended up costing him even more time. He's a very talented player, but the Mavs didn't have the confidence in him to play big minutes so i agree with Marlo that a change in scenery could do wonders for the kid.

Check his game log from 2 years ago, he lit it up down the stretch before his injury. He's got the talent, just needs a chance. But he is not a PG right now.

So you agree that it is right to create 20 seperate threads about each PG or tweener in NBA?

Nobody created 20 seperate threads about anyone so why do you care? Stop trying to be a fake mod. Your posts provide nothing but annoyance.
