We know your routine already, it is not funny anymore. You need something new.
How is McGee is a good comparison? ts easily the worst comparison there was, and we had like hundreds of those.

Did you know that an anagram of Jonas Valanciunas is:

'a vocal ninjas anus'

catchy! I would say it has a ring to it but....

Imagine if you're having serious conversation with Mufasa in person and him saying this quote in front of you. Goodtimes ROFL

I predict Val will have a better career than Horford.

How does everyone Casey will use Val this year?

For me, I think Grey will start for the majority of the season to set the tone with Val being the first player off the bench and coming in for him.

IF he surprises people and is able to adjust well and not foul and stay on the court, I could see them starting him towards the end of the year.

I just think he's the perfection compliment to Bargs as well since he covers Bargs' weaknesses (rebounding, protecting the rim).

I'm gonna stick with my prediction from a few months ago. I think Valanciunas will come off the bench for the whole pre-season and will be a surprise addition to the starting line-up on opening night. That is of course dependent on how quickly he picks up the defense but offensively I think Casey is going to love how relentless he is setting high ball screens and rolling hard. It really opens up the floor and give a point guard like Lowry a ton of options.

That's his role with team Lithuania and he has been very effective at it.

I can see Amir starting over Gray. I hope Gray only plays garbage minutes if both Amir and Ed are here at the beginning of the season. Im hoping for something like this.

Bargnani - 34 / Ed - 21
Amir - 21 / Val - 20

Amir will start with Gray getting the nod against certain matchups.

casey preaches defense religiously, and the C/PF rim/lane protection spot is arguable the most crucial defensive position, yet for a team aiming for a playoff birth, u start a semi-soft big, that cant get off ground to alter/block shots, with well below avg foot speed to keep up with the speed of todays players...people pls gray is an energy, hustle big that only can grab boards and sets screens well...if casey is who he is, amir/ed/jonas will start...and imo u start ur best defensive big, it needs to be jonas cus he is

I'm just hoping Big Valley to have an Al Horford like career (13 and 9 per game) but I'd agree he'll likely achieve more offensively because Horford avg only 3 FTA a game. If anything, Jonas' aggressive style might warrant him at least 5 FTAs per game.

So is Big Valley it? Is it so?

I heard them say it on the Summer League broadcast and I do personally like it.

The Big Valley.

Big Valley is a terrible nickname, Dennis Scott does not have the right to give Jonas his nickname. His name Jonas Valanciunus alone is a better nickname than big valley.

I don't think Amir will start. It's basically the same old story with Andrea being the center in the past. Last year with Grey, it seemed to work while he was playing with Dre. He was a big body in the lane and rebounded well. I find Amir is much more useful off the bench with his great energy.

I only see Grey playing the first 7 minutes of the 1st and 3rd quarter to set the tone. After that, Amir and Val take the rest of the minutes like you mentioned.

3D couldn't pick Jonas out of a lineup. Big Valley is really dumb, IMO.

So where does that leave minutes for Ed Davis?
