Nah, we would have picked Barnes instead which still would have been a better pick than Ross.

It's so annoying watching Rudy dribble the ball high. Every time in the lane it looks like he's about to lose the ball. No ball security whatsoever and he needs to stop pounding the ball so hard. That's another problem he can't control the ball in traffic.

Good game so far.

The Blazers do have better passing than you guys, but you are beating our guys 1 v. 1 so it is working for you.
Will be interesting to see what happens in the second half.

JV 11 points on 5 shots in the 1st quarter. What do we do in the 2nd? 0 touches for Jonas. The only points he scored were when he grabbed an airball by DeMar... Raptors basketball. Also, it's really interesting to see how great ball movement looks like. It's not from us of course, but still, good to see some good basketball being played at least on one side of the court.

Portland is making their bigs drop back defending ball screens so I'm fine with DeMar and Lowry being selfish looking for their own shot this game. But they should look to attack more rather than settle for the pullup jumper coming off the screen.

JV will def get 1 touch early in the 2nd. But if he misses or passes it out his night is over. He pretty much needs to score every time or until he misses. After that he won't get the ball again, unless it is an offensive rebound.

He might get one pass from Amir. That's highly dependent on Amir wrestling the ball from Gay or Demar though.

I gave Casey a piece of my mind before he left for halftime.

We need Demar to go off like he did against the bulls in order to win this one.

He takes way too many dribbles to move such short distances. Just take 1 friggin dribble and plant in the lane then either go up or kick it out.

Tell him to keep feeding DeHarden in the post. And if you get the chance, call Casey out for his coaching.
