The Wizards offense isn't something to laud over lol. They ran some decent sets, but Wall had many instances where he was over dribbling at the top tonight losing his handle or forcing passes that weren't there.

Well you really don't need much when our defence hedges so hard and an open 3 is always two passes away. We were always doomed to fail.

Exactly lol. A middle high ball screen alone is enough to bend the Raptors defense. Even with JV dropping back they got good looks on the backside creating a 4-on-3.

Honestly this forumn is showing how little they understand about the game. Feel free to crucify your injured star player who put their body on the line to play for this squad. Who even though he was clearly slowed was STILL our best perimeter defender, who was STILL mixing it up in the paint for boards when we were struggling. Also the organization went and disrespected a legend.

His shot didn't fall .. he had no legs .. and that was most of the night for our wing players.

Bottom line: this will force some moves for our future .. such as making a real run at a player like Demarcus Cousins.

I want Lowry back. He is bad now because the high usage during regular season took a toll on his body. He plays too hard and is not fit to play a lot. Blame this on Casey who likes to play him 11 min straight instead of pacing him. His body is broken at this time of the year

Why didn't that 3rd quarter lineup ever come back?

EDIT: Was it the starting line-up? I think it was. I just remember Amir looking awesome on both ends (first time all season), Jonas woke up too. It was nice. Only time the game really felt under control.

Just got back from the bar.

This team is garbage. Coaches, players, everyone. At least this will finally bring the changes we had wanted last year when we traded Gay.

Looking forward to this offseason.

This offseason is gonna be filled with regret...I won't even be able to watch the rest of the playoffs tbh...

Pls Masai, find away to trade Lowry, he is 29, with 3 years left on his contract, and it's looking down hill from here. A pick would be nice, but honestly it really doesn't matter at this point...

Honestly I don't like Lowry's game anyways. It will not age well and he's 30. So many of you guys are making excuses for him saying he's playing hurt but how many bone headed shots did he take where his physical state had no bearing on the outcome?

Way too many possessions where he never got anybody involved, opting instead to take difficult shots in traffic.

Way too many possessions where he took a quick long jumper with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. It's a terrible basketball play and unless you're Curry or another truly elite off the dribble shooter (rare) then you deserve all the criticism you get.

If your hurting the team by being on the court, you sub out. Or we should have a coach who recognizes this and subs him out. Neither of which happened. Lowry's D was nearly nonexistent, he provided very little offensively, and even made questionable shots with plenty of time remaining on the shot clock. And continued to foul at a consistently high rate. He better expect to be crucified with that kind of performance.

When your team is laying flat on its back you try to make something happen. When those shots were falling for him, I'm sure you had no problem with them.

MARIO HEZONJA!

Some mocks have him sliding too 8-10 range. We really need to target a draft pick in this range. Some good prospects here that can become real good players with good coaching*.

*Requires us to get a new coach.

Of that, I agree. But you have to try to make something happen. Without him, this team doesn't stand a chance. When your best player struggles hard, you are not winning anything at this stage. Just ask the Knicks and Carmelo Anthony from their Pacers matchup 2 years ago.

I disagree that his defense was nearly non-existent. The problem started with certain bigs showing too hard on screens and ended with us geting burned on the swing. Not one of our guards would of played Wall better tonight.

Didn't seem like every time demar made a shot the next possession lowry would gun a shot early in the shot clock.

lowry is not a good defender and neither is james johnson because lowry doesn't have the physical gifts and james johnson doesn't have the brain.. vasquez is too slow to go through picks..lou is too weak to go through picks..val cannot jump high enough to grab rebounds or quick enough to defend the pick and roll..amir johnson doesn't have the muscle to stop gortat..handsbrough doesnt have the soft hands to grab the rebounds.. ross is too dumb to do anything.

Yes i watched every game and the problem doesn't START with the coaching, it starts with some godawful defenders who happened to fluke out a good defensive season last year just like lowry fluked out his 3 month stretch this year.

This team isn't going anywhere and it is not because of casey, it is because our guys are physically incapable of playing great defence and the offence is failing because our picks arent set strong enough and our players are too weak willed and dont trust their passing ability to move the ball around.

I'm sorry but you take any one of the top 10 coaches in the league and they run offensive sets and hold people defensively accountable getting key players easy buckets this series doesn't turn out this way, watch the Hawks play watch spurs bulls, Cleveland golden state I watch all of them and every game they get layups under the hoops in a half court set please... Please please please Show me in the last 5 games ten half court set layups like wide open, good coaching **** ur defense up open.... Layups.

You can't Casey is a bad offensive coach.....

Lowry is a good player we have all seen it. But your a product of your environment if your coach is setting you to play iso heavy low efficiency basketball your going to be portrayed as a low efficiency basketball player... It's a simple fact. The team doesn't look organized that's coaching.... Not lowry

hawks are more talented at every position..so are th ewarriors.. so is cleveland..so are the spurs..so are the bulls.
