Go look at that 60 win Hawks team roster. Coaching matters a ton. It can't hide your flaws in the playoffs though.

Agreed. And this is somewhat of an insult to Toronto's team. I said this in the last PG thread, too often people only look at one side. "Giannis isn't talented". Wrong. Giannis is talented. But Toronto can play 8 guys (9 when OG is healthy) who have amazing BBall IQ, who have active hands, who can switch and switch back with no verbal communication, who know the exact second to help so that the opponent has no choice but to shoot in traffic.

The collective BBall IQ on this team is something we haven't seen in Toronto ever, so it's a real disservice to say "Giannis is trash". He isn't. Kawhi and Gasol and Siakim and Lowry (and etc...) are just so good at playing team D that they can nullify a lot of what makes him great.

Nobody said Giannis is trash lol. I said he isn't particularly skilled for a superstar, which isn't even really a hot take, it's kind of an obvious observation.

There's no game plan to stop Kawhi or Durant or LeBron(from a few years ago) other than hoping they miss their shots.

Giannis CAN be stopped simply by limiting transition points, which isn't difficult for a good defense.
