Re: Masai and Bobby are Asleep at the Wheel
I can't believe how impatient you guys are. For the, like, twentieth time in this thread, nothing is going to happen until the day of the deadline.
I shouldn't have to say this on a forum called RealGM. If you don't have patience, go take your ridiculous takes to Facebook or Reddit.
PS. Some of you would literally make terrible GMs. Sad.

We didn’t know that thank you for enlightening us.
There’s a difference between criticism and just constantly being negative and whining.
When your team is in the middle of a 9 game losing streak and just lost to a team on a 20 game losing streak, no, I don't blame them one bit. If you don't like it then leave instead of making disparaging comments to other posters.
Which one of my comments was so disparaging again?
Kind of rude to tell someone to leave because they don’t share your opinion.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Hours before the deadline is when the serious horse trading happens... not expecting anything before then and don't see much trade activity happening in general...

Man....I am gonna be so disappointed if we sit tight.
What transpires over the next 48 hours is gonna determine what the next 4 or 5 years are like. This will be a turning point in one way or another. Not an exaggeration imo to say it could be the difference between contending or lotto team for a few years.

The range of possibilities go from standing pat and trading, Lowry, Norm, Boucher, and even Siakam for picks prospects, and a Center.

Not too far from the truth though. We're at a pivotal moment in the franchises history. Our goat is set to expire and one of our best scorer is about to become a UFA. We recently lost Kawhi, Ibaka and Gasol for literally nothing. We can't afford to lose those 2 guys for nothing as well. If we do We're **** for a long time.

Imo....by standing pat there is NO path to contention for the next 5 years. We probably lose both Powell and norm for nothing. By trading for futures we get a bunch of spins at the drafting/prospect roulette wheel while having a solid core 3 to compliment any homeruns with our futures. It would give us a CHANCE at contending.

Re: Masai and Bobby are Asleep at the Wheel
Today the Blue Jays had some injuries to announce, and Ross Atkins met the media and announced the bad news. The Raptors are in free fall, rumors flying, a star player being fined for criticizing the coach, and what do we get? A memo from a PR girl. Where is Masai to address all the things happening? I know he can't just say, we'll be fine like after Kawhi walked. But he needs to say something.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

What transactions he does in the next two days matters more than anything he says.

Happens like clock work. Once the first domino falls the rest will fall into places.
Man I feel for the posters who take it to the extreme or take things personally.
If this Management didn't move the way they did they may never have acquired, kawhi, green, and gasol.
Gasol was like after 4pm trade, how you all keep thinking these two gentlemen aren't doing anything
Yall have access to their emails or texts?
Give them the benefit of doubt , you know innocent until proven guilty
Reserve judgments until Thursday midnight before all yall get worked up over things you cannot control
Turn on NBA2K if yall need to calm anxiety, patiences has proven to work , 72 hrs guys
Lol.

Re: Masai and Bobby are Asleep at the Wheel
Masai and Bobby lost a lot of credibility this past offseason with the Ibaka bungle... and even mentioning to Ibaka that they wanted to bring back the stiff Gasol... who was a complete pos last playoffs... wtf were they thinking???
Then fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble as their c's???
Talk about self implosion.....
