Add BI's shots, and a lot of people look worse.

Why couldn’t you trade him for another rookie contract guy?

So a guy less talented?

Maybe? I don’t think Dick is overly valuable himself. Bad fit and about to be out of the rotation

This is the Raptors forum. We’re in the game thread. We’re all well aware that Poeltl isn’t playing. Should I put in a “*Poeltl is out” disclaimer on every post?

If you're going to point out the one team being hit with Injuries..yeah I kinda expect the same response for your team.

Not sure how people are struggling with this..

One team was missing 4 of its starters, including its two top scorers. The other was missing its 23mpg C.

Surely we both recognize that one team was at a massive disadvantage here, right? If we can’t beat Mobley + 4 bench players comfortably while missing Poeltl, what exactly are we doing? I thought we were supposed to have expectations again this year.

Hunter was potentially starting SF.

Again...My of your posts comment on the Raptors missing Yak? Seemed to miss those.

Why is IQ the player you are wanting to keep?

Yeah. I think IQ is the bigger problem.

Yup. IQ got benched quick in the 3rd for Shead. Darko wasn't playing around today. He coached like his job was on the line and IQ, Gradey and Ochai who have BAD so far have seen much less run today. CMB also but he is a rookie.

Gradey is the perfect example of a player that was given too much too soon. Minutes that weren't earned. Commercials. Etc

Now reality hits.

I think that kind of thing gets to these guys heads. As a parent of a NBA kid it's interesting. You have to prepare them mentally more than physically and skillfully.

He's got lots of upside, but a cheap contract. We want more of those, not less.

Darko has tried to give this starting lineup every opportunity to make it work but he probably isn't dumb. Anyone can see the only thing that's been working are the staggered lineups. I don't think he completely gives up on it but he probably won't hesitate to yank a starter out quickly even after 2-3 mins of play.

What’s his upside?

His defence is horrid. His upside is limited at what? RJ Barrett at an absolute best case scenario with a more likely result being a deep bench option?

He just got thoroughly outplayed by Jamison Battle.

Does our starting lineup with Barnes, Quickley and Barrett still have a negative net rating?

The problem is they brought in a 28 year old to save somebody's job.

Which begs the question. Were we trying games 2-5. Cause any game Gradey enters I don't think we want to win. Any game IQ sees more than 30 min with how her is playing we aren't serious about winning.

All I said was “it’s good to know we can beat Mobley + 4 scrubs. I was worried there for a bit”. I really don’t understand your reaction. I don’t know what has you so defensive or what went on earlier in the thread, but there is no reason to take it out on me lol.

Need a trade but if not, Darko needs to grow a pair and talk to one of them into coming off the bench for the team. Kinda like how Kerr talked Iguodala into it.

The problem is he didn't run different units in pre season. He sat everybody, remember?
