How about the T-Wolves?

Re-Signed Bosh and DD for Al J and Rubio?

Do it in early November if Bosh isn't going to the rim AT LEAST as much as he was before the all-star break. That player is the ONLY Bosh that would be worth the max.

Minny seems to want to rid itself of Al Jefferson's contract. Rubio IS playing in Europe next year, so he wouldn't be of any use to them. Bosh IS better than Al J, even last year's version of Bosh. Everyone keeps saying DD has incredible hops and tons of potential. I see just as much potential in Weems, so why not?

I doubt Rubio will be a bust. He seems to be one of the best passers in the sport, and a pretty good defender (unlike BOTH of our PGs).
I think DD COULD still be a bust.
I'd rather have Al J with a $14 mil average than Bosh with a $20+ mil average. A much greater discrepancy in the dollar amounts than in the offensive production. Defensively? Not as far apart as you might think.

Just another possibility thrown out there... BC? You listenin'?

^-- Wolves are a terrible team, presumably CB doesn't want to go there. Basically, there is no point in suggesting teams that are terrible.

Assuming we don't make the playoffs..

Bosh, Calderon, Belinelli to Chicago for Hinrich, Bucks 2010 First, TPE

I'd follow that up with Banks/Evans/2010 Second for Dalembert. Then draft Alabi/Whiteside and Ebanks with our pick and the Bucks pick. Re-sign Amir and give Raja Bell an MLE deal.

Hinrich/Jack
Bell/DD
Hedo/Weems/Ebanks
Bargs/Amir/Dorsey
Dalembert/Alabi

Defense, scoring, heart.

Too many player and not enough ball man. You think Gasol, Bosh, Odom and Bryant are going to co exist? Sure its the Lakers, but he could go to Miami and be on a really good team too.

Hedo
Bosh/Gibson
Noah/FA

keep room for a max FA like Wade/Johnson

Curry/Hinrich

What about Bosh to NO to play with CP and West/a C West can fetch, for Okafor and Collison and filler?

You'd think Bosh might be interested in playing with another star and elite PG in CP, and NO rids themselves of Okafor's deal and only gives up their backup PG to get an elite PF. We pick up a young starting PG and interior D.

If we're losing Bosh, this to me is the best option...using him to get a young player at a key position.

That does not leave the Bulls enough cap room for another max player. Basically, all it did was dump Deng, Johnson and a future 1st round pick. Hedo's $9.8M salary replaces Kirk's $9.0M salary.

If the Raptors trade Bosh, why should they take overpaid guys like Biedrins and Deng? I mean, Turkoglu is overpaid too but why add another overpaid guy? I doubt a deal like that would make sense. If Bosh leaves, I'm pretty sure the Raptors are looking to rebuild.

Raptors Send:
Chris Bosh (S&T)

Houston Sends:
Jarred Jeffries
Shane Battier
Jordan Hill
2011 1st Round Pick (Swap with NYK)
2012 1st Round Pick (NYK)

Love this scenario if the Bulls are against shipping Noah in a S&T, we could probably nab a pick for Battier and Jeffries expiring.

Does anyone remember the kind of assets the Bulls got for Eddy (freakin') Curry?

NEW YORK, October 4, 2005 – New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that Eddy Curry and Antonio Davis have been acquired from the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Tim Thomas, Michael Sweetney, Jermaine Jackson, a conditional first-round draft choice in the 2006 NBA Draft, two future second-round draft selections and the opportunity to exchange a future draft choice. According to NBA rules, the trade is contingent on all players passing their physicals.

And that was with concerns about his heart (his physical heart, not his figurative heart)

Any chance Isaiah gets another GM gig before July 1st?

Yeah that's definitely the best option if it is one. Would like Budinger too if possible.

The Warriors/Bulls triple trade deosn't make sense for the Warriors btw. Biedrins for Hinrich, no way.

The Bulls only S&T for Hinrich earlier mentioned, I think Gibson should be in that one at least.

Definitely. Collison is a nice building piece. Perhaps better even than Bargs and DeRozan when it comes to being close to potential 'franchise' material.

Collison
West
Okafor
2011 lotto protected 1st

Jack
Bosh

or

Collison
Peja
Posey
West
2011 first

Bosh
Weems
Calderon
2011 2nd

= more cap relief in 2011 and 12

if they wanna contend with Bosh/CP3 they might want to keep Okafor as defensive role player over West's scoring. Raps could try to trade him on.

I'd be happy with Aldridge+Pryz for Bosh
