No team out east has an answer for Davis or lebron. They were all going to lose in the finals if we are being honest.

We have the size down low imo to pose a threat. It’s all about matchups and we match up best vs them than any other team in the east.

The problem always comes down to half-court offense. The Heat can't break through the Lakers D nor will any team in the East. Doesn't matter how good you are defensively without a superstar, you will always lose.

Its hilarious how strategy against Lakers was to pack the paint (They have no shooters) but with Lebron it doesn't matter

Pistons did it without a superstar in 2004, Spurs did it without a player in top 10 mvp voting in 2014.
Having a superstar helps but better ball movement and more importantly, elite defense can go a long way

King James gets #4...

Greatest of this generation and that's all that should matter when looking at the greats.

The NBA was happy when Kawhi went to LA because Toronto in the Finals every year is bad for business. They even let the Clippers tamper and the media was pushing the narrative all year. Not to mention the shady sh*t Uncle Dennis probably got under the table

The funny thing is now the ratings for their marquee event are about to tank. A competitive defending champion Raptors led by Kawhi against LeBron in the Finals would've been must see TV. I don't feel bad for them at all

Dragic potentially done for the series
If it's any sorta Achilles thing that's huge even beyond the finals given that he's a free agent

2 of his 4 came in shortened/unconventional seasons, I wonder if people that don’t like him will use that as ammo.

He got lucky with the clippers choking. Next year with the warriors coming back and KD with the nets he might not win another one for awhile.

Lebron is a top 2 player in nba history, and again having a superstar >>> no superstar, but Miami has been slaying teams that had top ten players on the roster up until the finals

Return to Toronto Raptors
