Decals on the court were a great idea too

Admittedly, that last call was complete garbage, but it doesn't happen if it's Bennett, who would have jumped for the ball. But no, we have Doornekamp out there, a guy who literally can't jump at all, and only plays with his hands. It's pretty obvious where the blame should, but won't, and that's the pathetic excuse for a coach known as Jay Triano. How many **** has that guy had to do you know what to to get to where he is today?

Unreal. Olynyk showed up, but nobody else did. It was shocking how bad Wiggins and Joseph looked out there. Ugh, Doornekamp. Triano is not a good head coach; he looked so weak trying to organize a play during that late timeout. It's going to be really difficult to qualify now...

Joseph in foul trouble.
Scrubb playing huge minutes
Lack of ball handlers results in turnovers
Dornakemp fouls with .3 lef to send them to the FT line to win the game.

Wiggins was horrific.

The 3rd pg thing was not the reason they lost. Scrubb had a passable game and ran the pg spot without getting us killed.

Ejim was in foul trouble which wiped him out. His rebounding was desperately needed.

Wiggins was horrendous.

On that final play Doornekamp sealed his man off and an opposing perimeter player had a line drive at the rebound untouched... until he was of course touched.... ffs :banghead:

The tv showed 30 (meaning 3? seconds left on the final foul shot... then 25?... then 0?? Definitely gotta rewatch this.

Lol. This has happened repeatedly with the senior team. Multiple blowout wins in the opening round, and then a choke job when the chips are on the line.

If we played Venezuela in the first round, we win by 25.

So happy I decided to watch the Jays game instead. At least Canada still has a shot to make the Olympics next year. We should dominate with Wiggins getting another year of development and hopefully Tristan Thompson on the team.

I won't be surprised if a lot of these NBA guys aren't on the team next year. Just watch how this implodes, just like it did under Rautins.

Wiggins was a huge disappointment. Everyone has bad games but he was invisible tonight. He's lacking the "IT" factor.

It's an incredibly rare call. Refs typically let you get away with murder in those situations, especially with so much on the line. I'm still shocked that it was called. Swallow your damn whistle and let the players decide the outcome.

That felt strangely raptoresque.

For all his points Kelly played terribly with the ball in his hands. Probably just following orders.

I can't believe this, that call at the end shouldn't have got called but it was clearly a foul, how do you go locking up a player's arm when he had no chance to get the ball in time.

Jay Triano sucks he should be nothing more than an assistant coach.

aselvana wrote:say what u want about the coach, wiggins didnt show up.

terrible call at the end.

Wiggins started off strong and was essentially taken out of the game by bad calls, and a couple no calls near the rim. He had two bad plays: he spun into a crowd at one point, and bobbled what should have been a dunk/lay-up.

If anything I think we didn't go to him enough. He and Olynyk started out strong but Olynyk turned the ball over every time we got momentum. He single-handedly stalled our run when we were up by 6 or 7 in the 2nd and were given an opportunity to pull well ahead. If you want Wiggins to be your best player and take over, you have to give him the chance to do that. He should have had closer to 20 shots, not 11. He's not disappearing, the team is not looking for anyone in particular. That's okay sometimes (playing good team basketball), but they need to go to their best players when they're in tight games. Even if only to try and grab some momentum.

Maybe Wiggins needs to demand the ball more but it's Triano's and CoJo's job to make the right decisions. Neither did that. Wiggins better be looking to kill next summer. Don't put up with **** Olynyk giving up the ball every chance he could and acting cocky because after he hits a few shots. The rest of the team can just feed off of what he opens up.

EDIT: In conclusion, a hierarchy needs to be established from here on out.

No. Don't do that to yourself. You will just be pissed on how ugly they were playing.
