The simple reality is that there ARE lots of European "Raptors" fans who are in reality "Bargnani" fans. We can pretend as if this is fiction, but it is simply fact.

Realistically, Bargnani just isn't a very good player. The fact that he is in any way shape or form being compared to CB is laughable. Hell, if we want to be honest with ourselves, Bargnani has NOT improved substantially since last year (some PER 36 numbers down, some up), or even since his rookie season. In any other player, this would be a tremendous disappointment.

Heck, if we want to be even more blunt, Bargs has been thoroughly outplayed by Amir Johnson, this season. Bargs isn't as good a player as Jarrett Jack or Amir Johnson, talk less of CB...

It's funny how I've seen a posters here (won't mention names) get enjoyment of putting players on our team down and not only the players but their followers. This is on the entire roster and management and coaches. As much as I dislike Triano, he is not to blame solely. Would changing him out for a GOOD coach solve a few problems sure, would it solve all, no chance.

I was mostly a reader and I strayed away from arguments and what-not for a while. I would use RealGM for Raptors news and some of the cool threads. Only since last year have I started posting full-time, and even then I tried to stay away from arguments.
I've fallen into the habit of reading too much into people's posts and arguing with them.

BTW, I consider myself a Bargnani fan. I think he still can improve. He's shown that he is a willing learner, but a slow learner. I'll compliment Bargs on what he does well also, I just don't feel the need to start bashing Bosh or Jarrett "TJ" (:roll:) Jack to make Bargnani look better.

Maybe you've not been on the board long enough to realize that "European" in this context is not codeword for white, but literally "white European", who have tremendously different attitudes and philosophy towards basketball as North Americans.
