Their loss. We've been proactive in scouting this guy. We know what he's capable of. And lol @ them thinking he'll be available at 20. I think they meant "2", without the "0".

Actually Minny scouts are correct.
Donatas Motiejūnas age is 20 years old (September 20, 1990).
So technically, Minny scouts got it right, he's gonna be available at 20.

Latest mock draft has Wolves taking Donatas Motiejunas in the first round

OK, calm down. You were lured here under both true and false pretenses. See, you were probably thinking that meant the Wolves would take someone you might not have ever heard of with the No. 2 pick in the draft. CRAZY, right? David Kahn would never do that.

But really, that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about the Wolves' OTHER first-round pick, No. 20 overall. Motiejunas is a 7-footer from Lithuania. Some mocks have him going a little higher, but ESPN's Chad Ford (insider required for full text) thinks he might fall to the Wolves at 20. Not only that, he drops this bit of opinion on a fan base hungry for any morsel of good news: The Wolves have the best group of international scouts in the NBA.

 Thinking a guy of Donut's caliber falling to 20th.

NBA Mock Draft: Donatas Motiejunas Huge Gamble For Suns

The 2011 NBA Draft is filled with high-risk, high-reward international prospects. They are all big and they are mostly all skilled. They also come with big question marks. Czech small forward Jan Vesely -- not so small at 6-11 -- was once a late lottery prospect but has climbed steadily up the mock draft boards based on his defense and competitive fire. Donatas Montiejunas of Lithuania was once considered a top five pick but has slide steadily down the rankings for the exact opposite reasons that Vesely climbed -- lack of defense and questions about his intensity.

Montiejunas is a 7-foot skilled big who draws comparisons to Andrea Bargnani and even Pau Gasol but he also is thought by some to be the next Yi Jianlian.

For the Phoenix Suns to take Montiejunas with the 13th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft would be a huge gamble. He would essentially be the inverse of Earl Clark who was drafted with questions about his offense but thought to be a top defensive prospect.

This is insulting, comparing him to Earl Clark. Haters.

I know he's the hate item here but I'm betting on Montiejunas ending up better than most of the other players in the top 25. This reminds me a bit of the Budinger hate which ended up pretty unfounded

He is IMO the 3rd most talented prospect. Defense and effort concerns are real. But I don't know if the reason Bargnani isn't a star is effort. I think he has serious flaws in his talent base. He can't really jump, has horrible rebounding instincts, has a crappy lower body strength. Most importantly I think the fact that he played SF so long really killed him instincts wise. I think Bargs had star talent and weak mental strength, he would still be a lot better than he is now. He'd still be a 20 PER player

Montiejunas has star talent. The effort might not be there but his skill and size alone may be enough to make him a big name player. He's more comparable to Pau in style than Bargnani to me and I'd take him over Jonas any day
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

The only hate I see around here is coming from you:

He is IMO the 3rd most talented prospect.

3rd most talented prospect? Really? What player have you been watching? He's easily higher than that, two spots higher, to be exact.

Montiejunas has star talent.

Only "star" talent? If you had said "superstar talent" you might have a point.

Certainly a head scratcher of a post there by Dr. Mufasa. Bargnani lacking talent? The best scorer in the league doesn't lack talent. It's all the coaches/GM/fans/city/taxes/Bin Laden/Calderons fault.

wrong place to place rationale in.

i agree with you in most parts. this is sad because he could have come to toronto if things would have gone a different way (no bargnani) and could of been a fan favorite easily.

just because two players are comparable doesn't mean they're mirror clones of each other. i would have liked donatas to be a raptor, but with bargnani there isn't enough space.

besides that, a lot of people are mentioning that they played/playing in the same ball club? are you serious that's your argument?

7000 posts and nothing to say. you're obviously not alone though!

funny to displace hate of bargnani to a player who has nothing to do with your team, your players, your anything..

Don't be silly.

The diameter of the three point line is at least 80 feet. Plenty of space for them to both operate and master the pump fake, quick step and 20 foot jumper.

Wrong sonny. Donatas has a lot to do with my EVERYTHING. He is my reason for living, a once in a generation type of player. GTFO.

Seems like your supporting my argument that their is enough space for both of them to operate.
