Agreed, Ford's list is FUBAR right now.

Is T.Robinson strictly gonna be an NBA 4? Or could he play the 3?

A big man through and through. No chance he'll EVER play the 3.

5. Sheldon William.... This guy went ahead of Gay tooo
6. Brandon Roy ... Healthy or not this is good pick and he should have gone #3
7.Randy Foy... Brad Beal of the draft
8. Rudy Gay .... what a steal at the #8 ... we should have traded down

Barnes is gone drop like Gay, but he will be 2 or 3 best players in the draft ...

1. Aldridge
2. Gay
3. Brandon Roy
4. Bargnani

Rondo nobody knew Rondo was gone be good as he is ..

Explain to me how Bargnani was a waste of a number 1 pick? Of the players you listed, where would he be ranked? Outside of Gay (not counting players that didn't go in the lottery), it's not unreasonable to think Bargs would go 3rd at worst.

I'm not saying this now, but I wanted Aldridge with the #1 pick or trading down like 80% of raptor fans back then for Gays. The only person hyping Bargnani as #1 was BC, hell even Bosh wanted Aldridge witht the number #1. Bargnani was bad pick that year anyway you look at it... we could have saved or gotten players to fill need while getting the player we wanted if we traded down for Gay.

Because he was supposed to dominate college and he didn't.

he is still young, uconn didnt cater to him, and college is all about the team, i think he is the for sure #2 pick and wouldnt have an issue drafting him, drummond and val.....nothing else to say

I am convinced that Thomas Robinson is the second best player in the draft. He has proven it against virtually every team and he is probably going to win a national championship and still be somewhat underrated. No PF we have is comparable to Thomas Robinson who brings together amazing rebounding, defsense and open court speed for PF. He definitely needs to put in work on his post game, but his motor and drive is just as good as MKG, plus he is a true four.

I wonder if anyone else sees a bit of Blake Griffin in his game. 22 and 14 in his second year at Oklahoma. Thomas Robinson 18 and 12 in his second year at Kansas. TR also plays on a more dominant team where he gets the ball less, plus Whithey is a good rebounder.

I could see him as a star in the league, and a potential franchise player if he keeps progressing. People often say he is like David West, but his motor and athleticism or on par with Blake. I would draft him in a second and dump anyone of our PFs for him.

Would Dwight have dominated college? Would Amare have dominated college? Would KG have dominated college? Would Bynum have dominated college? The answer is, we don't know, but if I had a guess I'd say that they would have. There's never been a dominant NBA big man who went to college and didn't dominate it. Simple as that.

Running it repeatedly (30+) it seems our most likely guy is Harrison Barnes. Next for me was Drummond. Then Beal, MKG were a toss-up. But most definitely it was Barnes.

I have Barnes pretty low on my Raptors wish list at the moment. He has a pretty shot and from what I remember of him last season, he plays hard on defense. That being said, I don't see him being more than a very good role player at this point. That's just my opinion.

After Davis, I like MKG, Robinson, Drummond and Beal. I think MKG is going to be a damn good player. Probably a borderline all-star, but he could be even better than that. I can't think of the right comparison for him at the moment, but I guess a less athletic, but more skilled Gerald Wallace is fair. He's intense and if yesterday was any indication, he can get pretty hot at times on offense. Obviously, he defense is already exceptional and for someone his age it's extremely impressive. He's got a ton of potential.
Robinson would be great too. Seems like a less explosive Antonio Mcdyess. That's not a shot at Robinson's athleticism. Mcdyess was almost like another Shawn Kemp, so that's pretty elite territory for a power forward. I can't see us getting Robinson though, as Colangelo will never deal Bargnani. It's a strange love affair.
Beal seems solid and I'm all in favor of us having a guard who can actually create and wants to attack the rim at such a young age.
Lastly, there's Drummond. If we pick at 3 or 4 and he's on the board he has to be considered. He can already play solid defense and even if you don't want him, I'm sure there would be some solid offers for him for a team needing defensive help in the middle.

If we pick any of those 4 guys I'd be pretty happy with this draft.

My personal board:

1. Davis
2. MKG
3. Beal
4. Trade the pick for a PG
5. Barnes
6. Sullinger
7. Robinson
8. Lamb
9. Rivers
10. Drummond

This changes every day though. I like this draft.
