^ Nice design buddy. Love the simplicity of it.

Only thing I would recommend (just my personal opinion) is changing the purple from that one to something more like this:

http://www.sportsjerseypedia.com/toront ... y-uniform/

With a darker red as well.

Can't wait to see the Road uniforms. I honestly think we should, as a board, push for someone at MLSE to see these designs after all is said and done.

Mehh, you could say the same about the Raptors. I've gotten used to it, but it's a non-starter as far as marketing goes. Not like the Jays have had much more success on the field and they've done much more with their brand.

Based on my experience of being from London and having lived in Toronto, but now living out west, the TORONTO Raptors will never be Canada's team because many Canadians outside of Ontario don't like Toronto and Ontario in general all that much... I have noticed a sentiment similar to that which many Canadians have for the U.S. and I think it is based on the elitism/centrism/ignorance of Torontonians as perceived by the rest of the country.

You need to live here longer. Canadians quibble just like siblings on internal affairs and Toronto is the biggest villain when it comes to pushing other parts of the country around financially and economically, but when it comes to national teams or single teams against the US, Canadians all across the country unite.

PS: I've lived in places all over the country.

This couldn't be more incorrect through my experience, but to each their own. As someone who's from Toronto, lived in Montreal, Vancouver, Halifax and Ottawa. The Toronto hate that each of cities embody is undeniable and very apparent, providing you leave your house/flat at some point. The only exception would be Halifax where the people are arguably the nicest and most polite on the planet. The truth is most Torontonians are loud and abrasive and will take any and every opportunity to remind other Canadians that our city is the economic center, most populated and therefore better, whatever that means. This is what breeds hate and resentment from other parts of the country like the previous poster said.

Also maybe if the Raptors made a deep playoff run you'd have a select few people jump on the bandwagon so to speak, but I promise you no matter how far the Leafs go the rest of the country will always take pleasure in their ineptitude as a franchise. The whole let's make the Raptors Canada's team marketing campaign is so horribly flawed I won't even address it in this post.

Where exactly have you lived in Canada and for how long in each place ?

First, I didn't say the Leafs, that is not a national team or single team for one sport, there are hockey teams all across Canada and each area pulls for their own and most but not all hate the Leafs, there are still some Habs and Leafs jerseys, original six, worn across the country. Certainly though don't expect Oiler, Habs, Canuck fans and the like to pull for the Leafs. However, when there is a national team or only one team, not all but more pull for the Canadian team than a US team. To explain that differently to you, Canadians dislike Americans more than other Canadians they have a gripe with. There are Raptor fans and Blue Jay fans all across the country.

I've lived permanently in southern Ontario, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Montreal and have relatives throughout all of western Canada. I have also been to/worked in every major city and been to every province many times and if being/living in a city town for more than two months counts, my list grows quite big and I didn't care for Halifax.

If you bring back the dinosaur you're going to have to put feathers on it. Even Jurassic Park is going to correct that error haha.

I personally do not want to change the team name, but I have to give props to the Huskies design. It looks really slick and professional.

As an outsider, I have no dog in this race (no pun intended). These uniforms, however...

Are absolutely wonderful. That's how you rebrand a team.

The jerseys are great, but the logo looks medieval. This ain't Westeros.
