Heard its gonna be different from game 1.

Hoping its the sea of red

That'd be pretty cool if they switch it up.

Game 5 (if there is one) could be half red half white.

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2014/04/20/ ... ps-f-bomb/

That’s the message Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams sent in response to the profanity that Toronto Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri heaved in the direction of New York City’s most populous borough.
During a pregame address meant to pump up a group of fans outside Toronto’s Air Canada Centre before Game 1 of the teams’ playoff series, Ujiri said, “F— Brooklyn.”
In a needling statement released later Saturday, Adams said: “It’s unfortunate that the Raptors’ GM felt desperate facing our Nets that he would throw profanity around discussing our beloved borough, but I can’t say I’m surprised. After all, Brooklyn is a classier place. Just compare Babs (Barbra Streisand) to Biebs (Justin Bieber), or spend some time with their…colorful mayor. Still, we spread love; it is, after all, the Brooklyn way.”

Something must have happened earlier in the season between the two organizations when you see Adams saying "he's not surprised" and Brooklyn is classier.

Brooklyn is definitely not classier, some of the rudest people I have ever met were in Brooklyn and New York. Goes to show just how bad Rob Ford affects everything. Anytime something happens now they just bring up the mayor and he has nothing to do with the Raptors.
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

lol @ brooklyn being classier, that organization tanked on purpose to play us while the raptors played their hearts out all 82 games. Tell me which organization is classier?

It's not about being classier, the Net's were smarter to position themselves to face us. While the Raptors we're outsmarted again just like in previous playoff and didn't position themself to to play an easier team such as the Wizards or the Bobcats. Very dumb move in the Raptors part imo.
Masai's to do list

Who picked the Raptors vs Dinosaurs "headline" for the Sun? It's the editor and not the author right?

Either way, they then had the nerve to write that and then show up at the press conference and ask about the headline. Cannot stand the media, both the papers and Masai riling up the opposition for nothing.

I am glad Paul Pierce didnt really make too much of the headline when he said it doesn't motivate him because he's smart enough to realize it was one jack-&$# who decided on the headline choice and it was probably the same guy asking about it in the presser.

I am glad he didnt give that question much attention.

What makes you think that the Wiz were such an easy match up. Did you not see nene play. I dont think there is a big man on our team who would have been able to stop him. That team is dangerous. Dont sleep on them

This is absolute nonsense. People thought Chicago was going to win the last 5 games of the year, and with the Raptors losing two of their last 3, they actually had a good shot at 4th. They were a last minute collapse by Chicago from facing the Wizards in the first round.

The Raptors are the underdogs who played hard for 82 games (minus one half of the last game where they needed to avoid injuries and had absolutely no impact on the standings), and the Nets are the mercenaries that tanked to avoid unfavorable match-ups. Like most things in life, the villains in this story got rewarded and had everything fall into place. This really couldn't have gone any worse for the Raps, and any better for the Nets.
"We're gonna take a different approach. We're gonna lay off Kobe, and let him get his, and just focus on the other guys."
- Assistant Coach Jim Todd at halftime on the night of Kobe Bryant's 'magical' 81 points.

Villains? its not like they took candy from a baby or kicked old people. they rested theirs starters down the stretch and allowed themselves to face someone they found a better matchup.

The game 1 loss sobered a lot of fans up. Either way I'm expecting a win here. We won't be jittery this time around. I'll be at the game, gonna be making a flag to waive at the ACC for tomorrow :D

Lol I know eh.

Its the papers. "Foul Mouthed Raptors" they say and its not even the players. It was the GM making a dumb move and the papers.

Then good ol' Rob Ford gets brought up and he had nothing to do with anything. How does the GM and our mayor represent the class of the city. Its crazy.

But you guys have to remember, its one or two clowns from each paper writing the article and approving the headline. I really don't think the players care much about the papers as they know this too.

Raptors got this.

Old man Pierce can't keep this up. I was cheering for Boston the last couple years in the playoffs and my god did Pierce disappoint. I expect more or less the same from him this year. Game 1 just seems like a fluke to me.
