Actually i dont think we fed him the ball at all during the whole game

Once Carroll or Patterson get hot from 3,they feed the hot hand. Once jv scores one bucket in the paint, that's indication to start going away from him and chuck more 3s

If you're not gonna give JV touches in the post, then he needs to sit. That's his biggest advantage in the series. If you're not gonna use it, why play him at all? You don't have to give shooters touches to make him effective (i.e. how the Cavs use Korver as a decoy), but you can't do that with a post player. You can't have him post up and use that as a decoy action. He needs to get the ball every now and then.

Re: Overreact to Game 1 for the entire series - Bucks sweeping us now?

Considering Joseph provides as much as Lowry a lot of games (sometimes more) I think Derozan money is way too much. I'm thinking Carroll money which mean we let him walk. He's pretty much the basketball version of David Price (regular season all-star who is garbage when it counts).

I think I'm being far more realistic in thinking it's a fair deal to give him DeMar money vs Carroll money. Also think you're out to lunch on saying CoJo provides as much as Kyle.

He does have some issues in the playoffs but I think he can get it together, still think he should take a 'discount' to making like 150 MIL vs 200 MIL. Doubt there will actually be as big a market for Kyle giving out more than that anyway.

We shouldn't be struggling against the bucks, were superior in every way and way more experienced. I don't know what this game 1 curse is but even game 2 we should have blown em out this series should be a 5 game series MAX if were to believe were the upper echelon of the east and contend with the cave we need to take care of business plain and simple

We underestimated the Bucks, this series will not be easy man!

Post#366 » by Berserk_Raptor » Wed Apr 19, 2017 2:02 am

Ok guys, I gotta accept it, we dodged a big bullet in Gm2, Bucks couldve won as well if they had made their last open shots, who knows.. but gotta give credit to them, to Jason Kidd, defense on Kyle and demar has been outstanding.. Casey will need to make some adjustments, and its time for our team to show what they are made of.

Esto se pone bueno, Playoffs are another monster as everybody says... hope our team rises to the occasion and steal at least one game in Milwaukee. btw, Giannis is a beast.

We played incredibly stupid in both games as well. They haven't seen the best of us yet.

Nobody I know did. We talked about for weeks prior to the end of the season about how their defence specializes in stopping pick and roll offences based around ball handlers, which is exactly what we are.

Many of us knew they'd be tough and the perfect warm up for the Cavs right down to Giannis acting as a mini primer for how to best approach Lebron.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not impressed with anyone on the Bucks except Giannas and Kidd and Eric Hughes...

I think the Raptors have just been that bad!

Look at the self inflicted blown coverage's/assignments, the mind numbing TO's....

How many Air balls and missed layups (that a lot were uncontested) have we missed?

Today they had trouble rebounding against Monroe and Maker (smh)

We had trouble against a tanking Knicks team without Melo and Porzingis and were down around 20 a couple of
weeks ago.

This is an extremely poorly coached unorganized basketball team that learns nothing over game film and is playing
at a Preseason level.

They are never prepared and that could be the reason the players are nervous

Bucks are ok, but I honestly think its the Raptors that just make their opponents look like World Beaters.

Any series where the other team has by far the best player will be a difficult one.

It's like we **** traded for 2 rotation players at the deadline and our star PG was injured for 2 months or something

We are figuring them out and adapting. This isn't really like how we normally play but we're doing what it takes.

This sounds like the Raptors every year, they stumble to wins. They might have a final form but the Raptors dont know how to turn Super Saiyan. Its frustrating to see.

Not playing our best basketball is what Raptors ball is all about.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
