As if hobbyists don't exist who could spend copious times @ airports. watching planes take off and land and can detail the specs of every plane, etc. He already claims he's an aviation enthusiast in his Twitter bio - he's not putting that there just so some Doubting Thomas can debunk and make jokes on a "message board".

Ya alot of people also play those airplane simulation games on the computer, you can legitimately learn how to fly a plane just from that.
