That was an ugly win, but I'll take it. Defence locked in for the final 12 minutes and we hit some big shots late. Thad hit some huge threes, Flynn hit some clutch shots and GTJ sealed the win with some CLUTCH free throw shooting...but I still can't believe that garbage 6th foul on Siakam lol.

This win mostly comes down to Scottie though. The off-balance jumper with the shot clock winding to give us a lead with 4 minutes left was unbelievable...and then he followed that up with a couple big boards, a beautiful pass to Thad for a dunk and a massive block on Curry late in the game. That all-star break was the best thing for Scottie. He's playing some of his best ball of the season (20/9/2 on 70% shooting in the last 4 games) and making a serious push back to the top of the ROTY ladder.

I mean hold on, Siakam was flat footed, reaching in on Seth's drive.
Sure, Seth drove into his body, but Siakam's arm was directly across the path and he wasnt moving either way - thats been a theme with Siakam for a couple years, reaching on the perimeter instead of playing proper D

Agreed. When I saw the play, I felt like it was a foul on Siakam, though he did have a few before that should not have been fouls.

With FVV out, and GTJ no longer as unconscious from deep, we are lacking 3pt shooting pretty bad it feels, I wonder if we won't see more teams deploy zone against us if FVV is out going forward (Minny, and BK x2 of late)

Nurse is an amazing coach but he has no idea how to evaluate more traditional PGs. We have seen it with Dragic and now Flynn sure they may not fit his 6'8 switch everything scheme but there both serviceable guards in a position of need for us.

Hopefully he learns and is a little more lenient towards normal size guards. We're not world beaters and these guys needed reps not a fear that they may get subbed out every defensive mistake

34mins 45secounds should be right about ok, but I will prefer 33mins and 20 secs . Cmon stop it with that stuff.
His style-of-play will always cause "injuries" as a 2-way player. Unfortunately, he can't just save his legs/knees on defense like some of those so-called superstars (Harden, Curry and many others)

If last night and tonight proved anything, Malachi Flynn is our backup point guard. Simple as that. He's better defensively, smarter, and a better shooter.

He should be the first guard off the bench moving forward

As long as he's not on the floor with Fred. Or Fred knows he has to take a back seat. If Fred won't let Malachi run the show, then having Flynn on the floor is useless.

Wow man, that is impressive as hell. My wife is in PhD4 of a Psyche degree. It has beaten and battered her and there isn't much left. I'm honestly not sure I should continue to encourage her.

You absolutely should. I think I wanted to quit like three different times when I was doing mine. Outside encouragement was extremely helpful to keep me steady and to push forward.
