Leafs have home ice advantage now. Huge opportunity for the Leafs here.

Panthers are no pushover, that's a solid lineup.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

I honestly feel bad for the Bruins (which is hard for me to say as a lifelong Habs fan). They look so shocked. Bergeron deserved better than this. But the Panthers had multiple crazy chances to score in OT. I can't say they didn't deserve the win. Bruins just seemed sluggish.

Well the two toughest and most talented teams in the East ... are out. Jose Calderon himself couldn't have escorted the Leafs on an easier path to the SC finals.

Well what can you do? Ullmark didn't look good either in game 5 or 6. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Still surprised that between the Bruins and Leafs both being up 3-1 in a series that it would be the Bruins that would be the ones that would blow a 3 game lead and getting knocked out in the 1st round. What are the odds on that? :)

We'll show Boston how it's done and sweep this scrub team in the next round.

I don't feel bad for the sh**ty ass Bruins. F**K THEM especially that rat Marchard. And also the refs that gave them the powerplay to allow them to make their come back. When you play the Bruins you have to play against biased refs as well. At least with Florida the reffing should be more neutral.

As for the Leafs having an 'easy path' to the Stanley Cup finals as we have just seen there is no 'easy path' in the NHL playoffs where anything can happen. All the teams remaining in the East are still super tough and the teams in the West are good as well. Bruins were suppose to have a relative easy path by beating the Panthers and then the Leafs who they've owned in recent years and yet they're now out in the 1st round.

Lol.

Florida was hella good this series. BOS was shook. Leafs gotta be a lot better than how they played vs Tampa.

Did they? Florida just beat the best team in the league in the regular season.

Also biggest question is clearly, who does Scottie Barnes cheer for?

I like that expansion teams can literally become contenders out of the gate. Las Vegas made the playoffs in their first season and reached the finals in their third season. They've only missed the playoffs once (barely) in their existence. They've been more successful in 5 years than the Leafs have been in 50.

Seattle is now on the verge of a second round berth in their second season.

In other sports, it takes years for a new team to become relevant. Part of what makes it possible in hockey is the hard cap which doesn't allow teams to hoard players, so there is enough talent to go around to every team.

We may never lose another game. The x-rays came back after 19 years and they got some dog in them

Yup they did, BOS choked. Plus I'm sick and tired of playing them in the playoffs. This will be a nice series.

I turned the game off when Boston went up 3-2, watched tv shows. Happy the Bruins lost, I hate them. Kind of irrational since I watch very little hockey and don't follow it, but happy they are out.
