Mathurin, Sharpe, Boucher, Lyles, Clarke

Pretty much nailed it.

Only changes I can see are Murray (injuries) Wiggins (not interested), Ejim (not good enough), Edey (NBA rookie may have other commitments)
Three replacements could be Cojo (vet/ball handler), Brissett (wing/forward) and Tristan Thompson (Size/rebounding)

Didn't murray already say he would be playing in the exit interview?

Over the last few years since he last played for us, I don't think Wiggins was necessarily not interested. Everyone knows he had serious family/personal issues (maybe someone was sick?) that caused him to miss many NBA games too.

His demeanor is too blase and uninspiring. Why be coy about it? Get excited and say you're playing.

Yes he did. Murray is in 100%

I don't think it's strictly his decision. Barrett said they will finalize at a particular date and will have to reconsider everything.

They don't wanna make it like Wiggins can play whenever he wants even though that's probably the case. Although there's a good chance Wiggins wouldn't even start.

Pretty interesting invite list for the men's U18 team for this summer. Will Riley, Spencer Ahrens, Efeosa Oliogu, Jaion Pitt, and Marial Akuentok is a solid group of names to start with.

Agreed, but seems like Akuentok is injured and won't be there. Unfortunate.

Ah, that's too bad. I hadn't heard that. Thanks for the update. Affects the team's size inside a bit.

But it should still be a solid squad if the others participate. Seems much stronger than the U19 and U18 teams of the past couple of years.

Ejim vs Brisett for one of the final spots will be an interesting decision. If Brisett went to the world cup last summer with the team that spot likely wouldve been his but he decided against it and his spot's open now. His mix of size and athleticism would be useful.

If Edey is held out, dont sleep on Kyle Alexander possibly selected as the 3rd big. He's probably got a better chance than either TT or Lyles.

To be honest... all the non nba Canadians looked horrible during the world cup. Ejim was the best from the bunch and his loyalty to the program is the only reason I can see him getting the last spot.

In Canada’s press release, it said a bunch of guys invited to camp declined for personal or injury reasons. I don’t think Will Riley is playing which is a bummer. I read he’s taking a visit to Kentucky in the next couple of days.

The 12-man roster listed on the FIBA site has Ahuentok (but not Riley).

Olympic experience vastly outweighs anything an NBA team would provide.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Pretty cool! We're going to need him in years to come. We need him and someone else really. A Joel or a Dalembert or a prime Tristan Thompson would be the type of player that would really compliment him. Even a young Khem Birch. Need one of those to come and develop out of somewhere. Hopefully, Akuentok fits the bill.

Cool he thinks it is his decision, I guess.
But I'm more interested in what his agent and the GM that drafts him thinks.

Recall Wemby said he was playing in the FIBA World Cup before the draft. then....

Spain will be in Canada's group if they win their qualifier (likely). No Rubio, but Lorenzo Brown is back.

Lorenzo Brown didn't look this year like the same player he was when Spain won the Eurobasket in 2022. He's turning 34 this summer and seems to have lost a step or two. Still a good player who can help them, but Spain in general is not the team it used to be.

When do we announce our roster?
