That's why it's a bet. Even better if people don't like their chances, give me higher odds and take my money.

By skewed I am saying that there will be a lot of other people like you betting on them to win the title and the odds won't be good for you, all that money will be priced in and you'll get pretty bad odds.

The odds at the start of the year are usually pretty good for teams. People had an idea that UConn would be a strong repeat threat this year and their opening odds were +1200 (now +500). If you lay in early on teams you usually get decent odds for D1 basketball.

This should be a must viewed site for any Raptor fan…

Role of NBA players drafted from 1957 through 2019

http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-draft-pick-expectations/1957/2019/1/60/0

I’m sure most people are aware of the results but it is a cool graphic. I haven’t seen the data in this format before.

I hope pick 8 goes to Spurs. No allstar from 1999-2019. It’s either unlucky or overdue.

is Sarr for real? I've watched YouTube highlights. For those who've actually watched him play, is he the real deal?

I kind of wonder why Cam Christie gets no first round attention. He is better than his brother Max Christie when he was at Michigan State.

Cam's numbers:

11.9 PPG
3.6 REB
2.2 AST

44/42/81 splits
4 BPM
3.1 OBPM
0.9 DBPM

From just this one game you can see the shot diversity he has from drives, pull-up shooting to catch and shoot. He just looks like a skilled NBA player in the making:

I’m not sure what his ceiling is. It’s going to depend on if he can develop a consistent 3.

However I do feel confident he’s going to look better in the nba where there is much mess clutching and grabbing.

Castle is top 6 for me. Maybe it's the flavour of the day, but he's my favorite prospect so far.

Indiana pick: no idea. Seems like it may be between Ware, Ivisic, Clingan, Missi, Salaun, Carter, maybe even Edey (I read he did better than Daron Holmes in his lane agility drills. Lot of Zubac comparisons on defense, but I think Edey may be slower in terms of switching directions).

Detroit pick: I got Oso Ighodaro here for now

I don’t mind Edey at all. Just watching YouTube right now and can’t stop wondering, 3 years later can Salaun improve to the skill level of Daron Holmes today?

Grizzlies catching up against the 76ers. There might be a good chance of getting back to #6.

Nurse is such an a-hole. Benched Dowtin for nearly his entire tenure here. Dude is killing it off the bench for the 76ers, albeit against the Grizzlies, but he's leading the team in +/- at +17 with 10 PTS, 2/4 from 3, 3 STL/1BLK, 6 AST, 3 REB. Considering how barren we were at back-up PG, you'd think he would have given Dowtin the same opportunities that Malachi had.

Dillingham has a very special ability to will the ball in the basket when his team needs it.

Sarr is a unicorn on defense. He moves very well for a big player, but the lack of vision is concerning. I'd take Ivisic based on his ability to play within a winning offense and the coaching he's getting.

Hard for me to imagine that Ivisic guy still available at the Pacers pick. Why not if you're OKC? Sign me up if so.

He looked nice the all star weekend. The young players tournament they had. That's my only time watching him. Nice defence I've seen the vids that have posted. He seems like a lock for the league to me. Not sure how high though.

Anthony Black is now shooting 41% from downtown in the NBA.

Dillingham has juice on his passes, absolutely zips the ball to where he wants it to go. Drive and dish ability is legit, much more impressive halfcourt passer than Reed. Might have to bet on him being an offensive engine at the NBA level with his speed and passing. Foul rate is concerning though.

I think Tristan da Silva at 31 is this year's Jaime Jaquez. Honestly reminds me of a better shooting Thad Young. He's a player I could see slotting in between Scottie, Barrett and IQ or just being solid off the bench.

Gives me hope for the Pacers pick. Or maybe even the Pistons one according to a cbs mock draft I checked. But then again tankathon had Ivisic at 47 iirc.

This draft might be underwhelming but there's definitely some NBA talent.

I think Malachi orders came from the top. Plus he has a better 3.
