The point is it’s dumb to commit to this “core” when they quite clearly stack up against the best.

Except you fail to realize that things change.

In our championship year...we added 3 new starters from the summer onward. This isn't close to be the final product of a good Raps team.

You are just pissed off they are winning games and hurting your tank dreams.
Tank dreams? Ok great way to polarize and not admit we want this team to be better than the mediocre pile Masai likes build around. It happened once with the PS FVV OG pile, and it's going to happen again

If you really want this team to be better, you would root for player development, smart Trades and instilling a winning culture.
For that you need to play hard, competitive and with purpose.

Tanking is the complete opposite of it.

Yes he is. Multiple references now to how he can't say Dick. Childish.

Come on now... if Charles Barkley made that joke, which I think he has, everyone would be laughing with him lol.

Nobody is committing to this core. WTF are you talking about?

Guess you missed that those Barnes & IQ extensions or Masai talking about Gradey being a part of the core moving forward…

and if they weren’t then they should be emptying things out so they can create a new core.

I haven't seen ANYONE try that, raptor or not, since Kyle Lowry.

Wins major points there for me.

Career high is 8, should be able to pass that if he stays out of foul trouble and the Pels keep bricking

What’s more ridiculous is posters like you really believe that we’re somehow gonna have another complete MIRACLE trade for a player like Kawhi who was in argument for the best player in the league, like we’re just destined to win the biggest trade in the league and no other team will outbid us. When it’s literally impossible that we’ll be able to execute a trade anywhere near the highway robbery that was lol

Yesterday’s price is NOT today’s price lol that’s the delusion you haven’t realized yet.

You’re not getting players like Kawhi, Danny, Gasol & Ibaka while still keeping all of Lowry, Pascal, Fred, OG etc. Packages for good players now require MULTIPLE picks and good depth. It’s hilarious some of you are so jaded that you actually think that’s still viable route.

Lol...it's people like you that only see 1 way to win that turns people.away from TWO.

I have said MANY a time I hope we get a good pick. I said today Tak and Ochai should sit out.

But I am not going to pout like a child because they didn't do so and because the Raps are actually playing well....despite not having a real #1 scoring option.

It really doesn't matter. Regardless of whatever direction one thinks is the most advantageous, arguing it here is pointless.

Masai does not base his decisions on chat forum discussion.

Personally, I am hoping this is all about increasing value of tradeable assets.

OKC, HOU and ORL were all considered losing teams for multiple years and ended up with multiple lottery picks. No one gave a sh*t about a fake “winning culture” lol

Once they established the high level talent at the core THEN they brought in the vets and other win now moves. All the development in the world isn’t gonna turn IQ or Gradey into players comparable to Chet and JDub lol

Problem is you have to build around the right 2-3 players.

IQ, RJ and Dick are not comparable to the other core players that are usually around the best players on the best teams of this league (period).

I cant evaluate IQ or Dick cause the latter is only in year two and the other one hasnt player more than 2 games in a row for us.
But RJ could very well be a starter thats fits around a franchise player.

None of that changes that aren’t comparable to championship core talent.

They simply aren’t & won’t be close to BOS, OKC or even ORL, CLE. To say otherwise is pure homer level delusion.

S'all good we can get our Mitchell and Allen (SG/C) via trades as well, we done with the tank after this yr
