What is Mogbo good at? He could've easily got that offensive rebound and then he walks back on defense.

Defense is the issue. We’re a good offensive team, especially on nights where Scottie plays like this. But defense is a nightmare right now.

I think a healthy Poeltl probably helps with that some, but they may have to find a way to get Agbaji or even Martin/Hepburn on the court somehow.

Come on. This East? It's anybody's game to get in. It's flawed but nobody has a perfect roster. We should make the play-in at the very least. Point 2: We spent money on this roster, and regardless of how the fans or the media views it, management put this roster together because Ed wants to see playoffs. If Darko doesn't deliver, he gone, only 1 more year on contract, and someone else will come in.

They don't have long. The vultures can smell, we need to shed cap.

I know that's the sensible thing to do, is what you suggest, shed cap, develop young guys draft high for a few years but clearly the mandate from ownership since last year has been different and that's why we've seen management do what are not common-sense things. The direction to win now has come from Ed. That's why I don't think Ed is going to be convinced to shed cap, "develop and draft high" for a few years under his new ownership.

I think Webster is going to trade some guys to improve fit on this roster, but cap is going to stay where it's at, in that ball park as we chase playoffs. Playoffs are where the money is for NBA owners. Your cashflow spikes up with those games.

Yeah. We've seen that in the dark years when we had zero talent there was no expectations and we were a joke in the league, and we watched for laughs. except this is an expensive team with some talent.

They spent so that they'd get a share of playoff revenue. That's a miss. They're costing him money.
