Isn't Oden sitting out the entire year?

Can I be the first to suggest Lou Williams with all seriousness? I'm almost fearful of the response but I see him as a quality option.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Is there a thread for hysterical FA ideas, or do we need to wait for press releases?

How about Mike James? I honestly think he could average 20 and 6 for us next season. Good mentor for our youngsters

You are not sure BC will pay him enough? :o

Still I think Lou comes here if we make him the starter for 3 years 24 million. He's still young and he gets to the line. Not a pure point guard obviously but I think he's the real reason the sixers were anything last year.

He's not sure BC CAN pay him enough (salary).

I took me a second to get my own joke. I must have been talking about Fields. Well played, past-FLS.

I don't think we have an open roster spot left after Stone making the team, but I hope we give a look at Jeremy Tyler down the road. I'm surprised the Knicks cut him but he had been nursing an injury for a while now.

We really need our own D-League team ...

Wouldn't Niagara/St. Catherines be a solid place to put the team?

The Ed Davis Thread (Bring Him Home)

Post#394 » by Purple+Black » Fri Nov 1, 2013 8:32 am

With him not being able to negotiate an extension and the Grizzlies front office being known for their salary-cutting, he will most likely be up for grabs this offseason.

The hunch I get from the few interviews with D. Casey where he speaks about Ed Davis' contract, there might be some mutual interest; all kidding aside, I for one did see potential in Ed Davis, he is special, he might not turn into a 20-10 player, but he has solid starter potential. Especially on the defensive end, that is what I miss most when it comes to his absence.

Val/Ed front court would be our future, with Amir coming off the bench, and defensively, I believe that rotation would keep several players out of the paint.

Not to mention that our front court would be young and only grow as our wings enter their prime.

& most of this footage is his rookie season I believe, also keep in mind that before he left, he'd put up a 17.8 PER season, and the year he left his PER was in the 18 range.

Why wait until (In) The Morning. Go back in time and never trade him. Bosh saying "Uh, baby you winter time cold". Make BC build a time machine, he owes us that much.

Just for the fun of it...what evidence is there that he's any better than Tyler?

That's an All-Star type season for a big nowadays.
