As far as clean designs go, Simon Chen's designs are all top notch. I can honestly imagine all three, although his Raptors design reminds me a little too much of the last Rockets uniforms but now that they've went back to yellow again I suppose that's not too bad.

His designs are 7, 8 and 9.





I have to admit that I kinda like aspects of the home court design of #21 but I dislike the jerseys and color scheme. Note the use of the official city font. The center court design is also kinda cool with the claw marks and the head-on logo.

Los Manos' Huskies unis are still my favourite, however these above are probably my #2, #3 and #4.

Those purple jerseys are amazing. Seriously, when I suggested we go to something simple with the purple and red, that was what I was suggesting. Simply amazing, classic...hats off to the designer of those.

I know I'm going to sound like a grouch but.. every attempt that I've seen so far has either been original or professionally done. None of the well-made ones are original, and none of the original ones are well made.

They all either look like an existing jersey, use a typography more suited to baseball, or are just plain generic/bland hidden under the guise of "simplicity" or "minimalism."

Come on people, why do you think everyone loved those VC day pinstripe purples? There was nothing clean or simple about them - they were cheesy as **** but they were one-of-a-kind and had character.

The best jersey design will be one that looks ridiculous at first glance, but has some distinguishing feature or lovable flaw that makes you like it more and more every time you see it... IMO!

I was all for the rebrand but those retro Purple jerseys just keep catching my eye.

I don't get why so few of them have logos. I like 3 and 18 but a logo really defines the jersey.

The presentation is great, but the actual result is gawdawful. I wouldn't go near those jerseys.

In trying to establish the Toronto Raptors as Canada, I began thinking about what truly binds such culturally disparate provinces together, some that speak different languages. some that exist in Arctic climates.

I started thinking about the pacific railway the economically tied this country together and really cemented its existence as a sovereign nation and the fact that they took a Shield as its logo.

so i ran with the shield concept.







the north star + a shield+ the canad red white red triband = this logo.

LOVE IT! honestly one of the best designs/concepts i've seen - and i've created a few myself. What about playing a little more with the railway concept? maybe having subtle tracks in the stripes?

Wow Dr. Comeback, welcome to the board. Incredible design and very unique. Love the jerseys and it's the only design that integrates Canada as a whole in an original, cool way. ONLY thing I would change is the number font. That's it. Otherwise, really good.

If you'd like, I would honestly create a new thread promoting this particular rebrand. Get it some more attention and hopefully MLSE will take notice.

As I suggested months ago how about being called the "The Toronto Shield " or "The TDot Shields"...amazing concept love it...I still love The Raptors though but your design has been one of the best yet...

I really don't want this post to be overlooked. The background and thought that was put into this, and the sheer appeal of the design is beyond phenomenal. I think this needs to get some visibility at MLSE.
