The evolution of Blake's offensive game has been impressive. I didn't think he had it in him. But his shot and dribbling skills are way better.

And lol at that Harden on JJ Redick clip.

Have there been any generationally athletic bigs who can shoot free throws? Wilt/Shaq/DJ and now Drummond, all terrible free throw shooters. I guess they never really had to work on that part of their game, getting by easily through every level on their natural gifts.

He's been working exclusively with a shooting coach, Dave Hopla, on this and was looking improved (19/33 57.6%) before tonight. Even a few (I counted at least 4) of his misses tonight popped out of the basket. It's a work in progress.

That's good to know. I've been following the Pistons a bit to see how Drummond has been developing and he's doing great this season. Hopefully he keeps up the work with Hopla. His form seems fine, so maybe its just reps he needs?

His form is good, he just needs to find a consistent motion. If you watch closely, you'll see his elbow pop out and the shot will slide to the right. He needs to keep that elbow tucked all the way through. Consistency and confidence. If he can get to 50% this season, it'll be a success.

Ross pick continues to haunt us, as yet another 20-20 game from Drummond pours in. I can't believe we pay millions of dollars to GMs and other "'experts" to run our sports teams. Anybody could see he was the most talented and highest potential guy left on the board. But nope, we get Ross.

This is why we are a joke franchise.

Let's be real though, there's absolutely no way Jonas could play 35mpg without breaking down. Drummond is a freak athlete, a generational prospect. I argued that other than Anthony Davis he's the best big man physical specimen we've had since Shaq. 280 pounds, mobile, coordinated, fluid, strong as hell, 7'6 wingspan, insane stamina...writing all this is making me angry because we could have had him.

I swear, I can never forgive Colangelo for picking Ross over Drummond. At this point, Detroit is way better than the raptors it's not even close. More determined players better coaching, they got it all.

Incredible 4th quarter
24-0 run!

with the way Casey uses him and the way he plays, I think he could without breaking down; he has had all kind of trainings (to improve his Running style, to be more economical with his energy, etc..) I really think he could.
Other than that hand break during his rookie year, Val has been solid physically and has avoided injuries (knock on wood)

Drummond is almost at 40 minutes and I think it is too much especially for such a high flying big with some injuries in the past.
