Fischer has been accurate on Raps rumours in the past (Scottie at 4, chasing Turner) so he's not all bad.

This article was clearly pushed by Portland.

Not really, Fischer said Siakam would be traded last year.
I also had Barnes at 4 before the draft, I also had us chasing Turner before Fischer reporting it, do I look like an insider?

He might has connection to Portland, but I don't think his source for Raptors are reliable, more like RealGM source

He called both of those before anyone so he gets credit.

Siakam could have been on the trade market as well or teams inquiring or Masai inquiring etc. Masai, with due diligence

OG you don't trade man. This guy is a unicorn. He doesn't have that obnoxious demeanor, but he wins us games.

No one is untouchable maybe except for Scottie, but if you get a kings ransom you need to consider the trade.

I don't understand a single word you are saying.

He was clear about that, but he interestingly didn't mention GTJ at all, or as part of the "core". Even during the Masai presser before that, did not refer to GTJ at all or as part of the "core".

Mainly because we have no control over him beyond this year. Uncertain future.

Which is why I could see Masai selling high on him at the draft. Worse players have been traded for lottery picks, and a team acquiring GTJ gets him for at least 1 full season.

Trading Trent into the top 10 is a long shot just because he only has 1 year left.

I'm hoping a team bites though.

knowing that some here are obsessed with Holmes (i don't get it, he doesn't fit into the way Raptors want to play but lets entertain the idea)

Holmes + #4

for

GTJ + next year first rounder.

As I've said many times before, unless an OG trade changes our team drastically, I don't think Masai does it. Based on Masai's history, he'll favor continuity and familiarity and patience, unless it is a no-brainer deal that moves us from a 3-6 team to a 1-2 team in the east. This was not a failed season or playoffs (e.g. Lebronto seasons), where a negative finish to the season forces tough decisions. They played incredible after the all star break, siakam has absolutely redeemed himself and then some, FVV was an all star until injuries hampered him, and Precious is looking like a stud. so i don't see it.

Running it back will solve absolutely nothing. We will just waste another season. Masai wants to create a dynasty.

okay lets forget about Holmes, would they accept GTJ + next year FRP for #4.

you do get a 2-way guard about to be in his prime.

Yeah it's unlikely but there's a chance if we add picks. Something like Trent + #33 + protected FRP for #8 (Mathurin).

Don't think there's any chance Kings do that. GTJ for #8 pick is more attainable but still unlikely.

It’s interesting you say that because the two teams in the finals this year are teams that have had their core together for a significant amount of time. Maybe there’s value in continuity if the players are worth investing in and based on how the first year of our retool went especially given how inexperienced our team still is, there is an argument to be made about keeping this core together and putting some specialist pieces around them (shooting, shot creation off the bench, defence at the rim).
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

I was looking through Klutch's roster and only Draymond has stayed in one place for his career. They move their guys either to benefit the player or the agency (or LeBron). As a basketball decision I would keep OG 10/10. But, that might not be what he wants for himself. He's UFA in two seasons.

Maybe for the 8th but I doubt it. I think the Knicks pick is definitely doable with the Noel and Burks expiring. Not sure if thats worth it for us for whos available at 11. Knicks definitely need shooting. But they also need a point guard. Actually they pretty much need everything lol

OG and Trent going anywhere has really bad odds but that does not stop the media primed "inquiries" from TV land due south. Nothing and I mean nothing, to see here. Move along.

People don't move along because they relish the opportunity to show how little they know.
