This is what I think Masai also feels may happen.

If they keep GTJ in the deal (Likely IMO) then resign him in 2024 they could offer Barnes + GTJ + picks for Giannis - only happens if Giannis wants out but few teams will have a better offer.

OKC will be the real risk in a bidding war for the freak.

Scottie will be the best asset available again and OKC isn’t on that contend now timeline yet.

Masai going to remind the world who he is.

Thanks for your messages. I've read them all and appreciate the support and trust as always. It's why I do what I do.

Now I know y'all have been asking: "B, what's the scoop? What are you hearing?"

Well. A lot. I can't say much but expect a massive update within 12 hours. Is it a sure thing? Nope. Nothing is in this crazy world. But I feel good about this and my track record, to be frank, speaks for itself.

I'll just leave with this: It's Dame Time.

Having Dame foster the next gen of team leaders in Scottie and OG would be a boon. Add in whomever is left amongst GTJ, Precious, Dick and Koloko - you find yourself with not only a better balanced team immediately, but keeping a promising future intact.

From Portland's perspective, getting Pascal (and being in the best position to resign him), Ayton via a three-way and some prospects/picks is a nice return.

I feel like if they wanted Pascal, they would agreed to the #3 swap to pair him with Dame.

They leaned into the youth movement which makes sense so I doubt they want him.

This is a move to contend, no way Pascal is going out. If you want development, it won't be with Dame.

This is why it's important to hold onto Scottie. He can be the centrepiece of a Giannis or Luka trade when (if) one of them asks out. You don't trade him for guys on the cusp or retirement like KD and Dame.

By then Barnes would need to legitimately establish that he is on his way to being an all-star in the near future to be worthy of being the centre of a Giannis trade in my opinion. He needs to have a very good year for that to happen.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Ain't no way Bobby Marks suggested a Ayton + Walsh + Kornet + Pritchard + Hauser for Dame trade.

Yeah, Dame is ours.

While Scottie would be the best asset, the Bucks are in a situation where one great player won't do. OKC has so many assets, if they decide to chase Giannis, I don't know any team that could come close to what they could offer: Giddey, Chet, Jalen Williams?, and how many 1st and 2nd round picks. The Bucks could rebuild their team in one deal.

Poeltl and Dame pick and rolls would be absolutely lethal.

It seems like this may be fluff than anything else. I hope I’m wrong though.

When the Raptors are connected to someone and a rumour comes out, they never take long to finalize it, if true.

We heard about Kawhi, and then a couple days later it happened.

We didn’t hear about the raptors legit interest in Scottie, until 1 week before the draft.

Poeltl trade, same thing.

Whenever the Raptors have been involved in rumours for a prolong period of time, it almost never happens.

Again… I hope I’m wrong.

Thank god for us that Dame shoots from 30 feet out regularly. We're gonna need that extra spacing to make up for Barnes/Siakam/Poeltl lol.

Don’t work yourself into a shoot. This is the KD saga all over again. Masai will do nothing

The funny thing is Marks probably doesn't even believe it, he was just told to go on TV and pitch a trade to LA or Boston or something

Because they are waiting on Giannis and Embiid to be made available.
