Put together a good team and add Pascal = Indiana

Make Pascal the main character and surround him with dysfunctional pieces = TwO Raptors

Pascal always deserved that max. I’m so happy for him and so happy he’s finally getting the praise and recognition he deserves! MVP! Let’s go!

He deserved a chance to compete for a championship elsewhere because it definitely wasn't happening here.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

We should have probably just kept the superstar, no?

His efficiency improved dramatically with Haliburton. You think thats some random outcome? Cmon lets be realistic here.

The takes about this guy just a year and a half ago was unbelievable. I can’t remember anything on this forum aging this badly. Leading scorer of a team going to the NBA finals. I do think we all have grown to appreciate Pascal after watching our team the last year and a half. lol. Pascal is a very talented player. We don’t have anyone like him on our team. Although Ingram is up there.

Happy for him. They are in tough in the finals. But when you build a great team it puts you in positions like this.

I actually don’t think we should have. We had a horribly constructed team around him. Our core needed to go once Fred left. It wasn’t going to work.

Suck it to all those who hated on Siakam. It was one thing to say he's not a 1st option, which he's not, but there were a lot of idiots who were hating on the guy as an overall player.

One of the most disrespected players by fans/front office we've ever had. Can't believe Masai publicly called him out, glad he's thriving away from this toxic team.

If that (in addition to the directionless losing) wasn’t a sign that Masai has completely lost the plot, I don’t know what it will take.

We need a new front office.

Yeah but usually you just trade those folks away to build around your star, and that's what we should have done.

A real shame we never managed to field a competitive team around Pascal...not even talking about building "around" Pascal, but actual roster construction responsibilities were abandoned for most of his era. Multiple years with no center and forced to play the 5. Leading the league in minutes 2 years in a row. A shoot first PG that couldn't even blow by centers. No backup point guard. No bench to speak of. An offensively stagnant coach. The poor roster construction should always be acknowledged long before "#1 option" talks. He's a perfect fit on the Pacers and the result is an ECF MVP.

Nah, he didn’t show enough to deserve it. Sorry but he’s an excellent complimentary player but not a true franchise player. You take away Haliburton and Indiana doesn’t go past the 1st round.

Hands down the worst discourse in RGM history, Clowns acted like he had no bag, was a bad defender, couldn't shoot or lead the team, MFrs even said he was worse than DD

tWo gonna hold this L for life, acted like Siakam was holding back Barnes

Imagine if Masai could have brought In players to take the load off him

Didn’t have to be a super star, but they needed a scoring alpha

Masai and Bobby Fd up hard

I think this series showed a lot more about "1st options" Brunson and KAT. **** doesn't matter if you're on the bench because you're such a liability.

I'd rather have Siakam.

Masai should've kept Norm Powell instead of trading him for Garrison Trent Jr.

I love Siakam.

I wish he could have stuck with us... should have been a lifer. But happy for him in Indiana. I always believed in him and wish the Raps could've kept him. Sad to see that we got rid of he and Norm because of money.

Glad for Indiana actually going out and getting him.

Portland, Sacramento and Golden State are all made a huge mistake not valuing him enough.

I hope he finishes his career here.
