wow, i see so much hate.

IF our player is at #22 (Bradley, Bledsoe, George, Alabi, Whiteside even) then WHY THE **** NOT? You pick up an asset for free. Hell you could probably flip him after for a pick.

If we trade for Rudy (which I believe he can play the point), then we will be drafting Ebanks at #22 instead of Bradley.

But it's a tough situation. We'd have to select for the Blazers at 13 and hope someone slips to 22 that we like?

This is such a Colangelo move. Not because Rudy is Spanish, but because of the way he approaches the game.

I can see BC talking to media already..."We've always liked Rudy. He has excellent playmaking ability, spreads the floor, hits big shots.."

Ugh. Just develop Marco. There is absolutely no need for this.

i would pick my top two guys at 13 and if they are gone, flip the pick quickly to portland

by the time you are getting down to the 3rd or 4th man on your draft board at 13, fernandez becomes a more viable option because the 3rd and 4th choice may be available at 22 anyways

I like Rudy but he would be truly redundant here. Avery Bradley at least has all-star potential.

Rudy complained about PT all year.
Just imagine him with Weems, Belinelli, DD
But he s a valued-asset(for trades down the road) I would do it

Fernandez threatened to go back to Europe because he wasn't getting enough PT in Portland. What's he going to do here with DeRozan & Weems gunning for those minutes?

no we hold off until we see whos available. The draft is so many hours away that i bet the talks went like this. The basis being #13 for Rudy + #22 and then obviously someone is waiting to do it or it would be done already. So obviously if its going to happen on draft day than its because #22 is there and we like him.

Fernandez>>>>pick 22 - pick 13, this should be a no brainer in this draft

and i'm really not a fan of Fernandez at all.

If we get a big like Alabi or Seraphin at 22, wouldn't you guys take it? Forget about Rudy Fernandez for a second...thing of him as a sweetner. This is because I really think the Raps like Alabi better than any other big at 13.

Those two combine for 48 minutes a night, tops. I think there's room for minutes.
