This is very poorly made. As a off control room broadcaster and videographer and many year of motion graphics experience. I can't even look at this and take it serious. its not even that funny.

When criticizing somebody else's work, there are 2 rules of thumb I think you should take note of.
1. Form coherent sentences
2. Make sure your own work isn't pathetic. (I seriously wouldn't be advertising the fact that you do this professionally or that you've spent many years working on your 'skills')

General question here, what are Serious FX? Are they different from frivolous or light-hearted FX?

I checked out George K's website and I like the splosions. Are those examples of serious FX? Like if there were kitty cats prancing around, would those be non-serious FX?

None of it woulda happened if you didn't go out of your way to try to criticize the OP video from the stand point of someone who knows better. Just a douchee thing to do; you had to expect this kind of reaction.... Sans the dick comment that started the whole thing, I bet most wouldn't have even looked at your link, and those that did woulda been much less harsh.

Plus -- you saying in your 'professional' opinion that something the rest of us find quite hilarious isn't even funny at all, and that you could do way better, is kind of an insult toward us and our own sensibilities.... Anyways.....why can't the Raptors have drafted someone like griffin? How fun would it be to have this guy as our favorite player and face of the franchise? Just a bear, and obviously quite cool/funny to boot.

It was just the weirdest comment for someone to make, just an invitation for us to look at his work. The way this bit was shot has almsot nothing to do with why everyone thought it was hilarious. I did not find any work of his that was meant to be comedic ,so why did he invite the comparison?

Back on Topic : Blake Griffin has awesome comedic timing, he needs to be in a commercial ASAP
