A quick look at Leon Alexander a 6'4" undecided small forward in the 2011 class.
Alexander is a very good athlete, who is at his best when attacking the basket.
He uses his strength and explosiveness to do damage in the paint! But he can also
pull up for mid range jumpers and hit threes as well. He is a guy who does it all
for one of the best teams in the province; J Clarke Richardson.

CORRECTION. Championship game between Huntington Prep and Findlay Prep will be at 7:30pm not 7pm. and 7 Canadians will be suiting up.

Sorry about not updating the thread, I am in Orlando for the Montverde tournament.

Huntington won in OT Vs a CRAZY Montverde home crowd. Sim Bhullar tied the game up with an alley oop and then had a shot at the buzzer but was ruled no good. (Although after review, the shot WAS released with 0.1 left). Huntington took the game in OT to face Findlay.

Video highlights to follow, Anthony Bennett had some sick dunks too.

CROWN's Gilbert Muako has a nice piece on Sensational Canadian high school shooting guard
Aaron Redpath of #2 ranked J Clarke Richardson.
Despite having several U.S. schools interested in him including Dartmouth of the Ivy League
Redpath decided to stay here in Canada and Ontario by committing to McMaster. The Maurauders
have a deep basketball history and the combination of solid Academics to go with a great
athletic department swayed Redpath in the direction of the Hamilton University.

Kabongo playing very poorly early. I think he finished with 1 point, no assists, 2 turnovers and had 2 of his shots blocked. Jankovic got a tech for hanging onto the rim too long and lost the ball on a nice drive to the basket.

Bhullar looking alright early. A couple blocks (one against Kabongo), a dunk and contested a few other shots. 5 points.

Kabongo is now showing why he is so highly regarded. Driving to the basket at will.

Jankovic just got ejected for throwing a punch at Kabongo. Kabongo cried to the ref to embellish it.

I don't blame him. Kabongo appears to have a very poor attitude. He seems to think he is the best player in the world. I don't like him after watching this game.

Watching this game you can see why Bhullar is highly regarded. He forces players to kick it out and change their shot because he is under the basket. He needs to realize he is 7'4" and not kick it out so much when he is right under the basket.

Kabongo has 7 points and a couple assists with 2 fouls I think.

Huntington by 1 at the half.

That quarter also showed why people have a lot of doubts about Bhullar. Still played well defensively but did not do anything on the offensive end.

Bennett and Kabongo each hit a 3 that quarter.

Bennett has 12 points I think. I think Bennett is a good prospect and that will be highly regarded in the States soon.

Kabongo with 11 points. 6-11 free throws.

Findlay won 48-39.

Bennett missed an alley-opp attempt at the end from Kabongo.
