I'll give one good example, these stats do not consider the opposition and flow of the game. At least Im not aware that they do. Huge factor. These stats should only be taken for what they are, a measure to be taken into account relative to other factors.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

TS% is also another stat that I have an issue with. It is highly dependant on the role a player is given, coaching, system, teammates, etc. This is why the TS% of some players skyrockets (or bottoms out) when they go from one team or another. It is a stat that favours lunch bucket role players over scorers.

Man, EVERY statistic is dependent on context. In a different situation, they would not be the same. TS% is no different than PPG or FG% in that sense.

TS% also doesn't "favour" anybody. It simply measures efficiency.

Those things tend to stabilize over 82 games. At some point everyone faces everyone in every kind of scenario imaginable.

BTW, excellent thread and I agree with the sticky, too many people on this board have a warped sense of how some guys play relative to their position.

What stat takes into consideration the opposition and flow of the game???
