he is a very effective offensive player being in the top 8 in free throw makes and attempts and top 5 in mid-range fg%.

What the video doesn't show is the other end where there is lots of work to be done

Oh he has work to do on the offensive end as well, yes he finishes well at the rim and at the line, but he takes so many of those long jumpers that kill his efficiency. They're the worst shot in the game, and few love shooting them as much.

But sadly like 75% of those highlights are dunks a few mid rangers and the odd 3. No monster swats, passes, handles etc...

Hopefully he shows a much more complete game this year.

your an example of what's wrong with this forum. The guy put together a cool mix, and you highlight the negatives about DD. You should have just stopped after "very well put together"....

Last year if Bargnani didn't have a bad year he could have really exploited other shooting guards with his size. Especially since most of the upcoming shooting guards like Beal are a lot smaller than him. He should focus on bullying them in the post and drawing fouls that way since his handles aren't average in my opinion. I'm predicting his stats next year be 15/4/1. Hopefully he can take better shots (with an average 3) and try being a better defender that would make his efficiency really shoot up.

15/4/1 wt**? He already avged 18.1 ppg , you expect him to have less, you make me loool. He is already avgin around 4 rpg and 1 assist..Do you even watch basketball?

I'm also on the fence on whether we should keep DeMar if we're going the tank route. It's looking more and more like a bargain deal we have him on. He might already be worth 10-12M easily. However, if Masai does decide to trade him away, I'd suggest packaging him together with Gay either for package that includes a 2014 1st rounder, or something that includes receiving some good young talent in return like Gay+DeMar for Fournier+Gallinari+McGee(filler/backup for Val)+2014 1st/2nd rounder if a team like Denver wants to make one last serious stab at contending.

He averaged 18ppg being inefficient af and playing as the first option. With Gay in the mix I'm hoping that he takes a backseat offensively and focuses on his defence and playing winning basketball.
