Amir is currently averaging a career high in PPG. And he's above his career average in PP36.

Rondo would be a trainwreck with the Raps current roster. He needs 3 point shooters around him and isn't a great PnR guard either.

Our rims would need to be replaced every halftime after all those bricks Rondo/DeMar/Gay would put up.

how many times have we had a catch a shoot look at the basket? how many times have our bigs been given the ball on a roll? he is in raymond felton territory now...

biggest disappointment of the season...

I kind of agree but where is this coming from...hes been playing good the last couple games...if anything hes less of a disappointment compared to Rudy Gay. Ive been saying this since day 1. His skill set is best suited for a back up (6th man) role. Hes a great individual talent but he doesn't do any of the things a PG is supposed to do. He doesn't make anyone better and he cant run an offense even a little bit. It seems like we always get these great pieces but theyre never for the right puzzle. Lowry is a backup playing in a starters role, hes a very good player but unfortunately hes limited, and its not by his size either. If he was 6'3" hed still be more effective as a spark off the bench.

So the big question becomes, who wants a backup point guard? I think Indy could put him to good use myself.

I remember 2012 off season when everybody wanted Lowry over Lin.
Now Lin is averaging almost 18.4 ppg on 53% shooting. While lowry is averaging 12.6 on 40% shooting.

rudy and demar are half court players that don't know how to pass. but our pg has to get our bigs involved and he doesn't. amir + jonas' offensively development and involvement has taken a hit and i attribute that solely on lowry's inability to run a pick and roll. if you can't run a pick and roll then you are not a pg.

Id trade him for Lance....Lowry could probably start on Indy. Im not really a George Hill fan and can totally see Lowry fitting nicely with that starting lineup

I agree completely, but id say its more than just his inability to run the PnR. He almost doesnt look for his big period. We treat our big men like energy bigs (which they are for the most part) but Val is more than that and i worry that he might get to comfortable in that role. I will aknowledge the fact that he has gotten a hell of a lot better in the PG department compared to last year but hes still a ways away. Its good to see that he CAN do it tho

I never understood why people were expecting so much out of Lowry . A player doesn't keep losing his starters job on multiple teams and coach's if he was performing well .

He's always lacked the ability to run an offense and no one want's a shoot first pg that can't win you games . He looks like he's lost a step which doesn't help , hopefully we can dump him to a contender who needs a back pg and get a late first/decent kid and a expiring .

Also he's not as bad a Felton , yet , he may slide to that level in a year or so but I've watched Felton this year and he makes Lowry look like a borderline all star .

Not just Lowry. This whole team has been underperforming. Almost as if this team was built for tanking.
Looking for a new signature. Currently, still evaluating.
