Anyway, I'm confused by this thread. Assuming the Bucks/Sixers finish as the one-two seeds in the RS, and win their first round series, how do the Raptors avoid both of those teams in the second round?

Destined to lose to the Miami Heat in the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs, yes.

I haven't really looked at how the brackets shape up. If we get a beatable opponent in the first round, are we likely to get Miami or Indiana in the second?

Hard to say, since none of the 82 regular season games have been played yet.

hey y'all this thread is from 2014. though i kind of like the idea of bumping old threads and treating them as if they were today's. very meta. i mean, are we a team of destiny? will we get taken out by the heat or the pacers? same as it ever was.

Call me nuts, but I think the Raptors are a team of destiny this season. They probably won't win the title, but an ECF appearance is not out of the question.
